I would love to meet Anthony Bourdain in person. In my opinion, he is the biggest personality on TV. he is a natural. I encourage the Lebanese to buy his book"no resesrvations, around the world on an empty stomach" I don't know how to thank him from the bottom of my heart, for the article he wrote in his book about Beirut, and the cover of the section on Beirut was in black b/c of what happened to my beloved country on 2006. God bless Anthony Bourdain and Lebanon, b/c I want him to go back to L
I am from Lebanon i left in 06 to Canada i did not even know who tony was until a year ago when i got hoocked to his tv show and now i find that he was there and got a small taste not of just our food but about what we went threw in life and i think that that is something remarkably genuine &human of him.
now i have returned 3 months ago to Lebanon for good surely for ever no matter what happens. I really hope that i could actually meet bourdain on the streets and get his autograph 1day
and i hope he visits not only Beirut but others places throwout Lebanon for example last week i went hunting and finished the day at a restaurant own by a family (the best kind of restaurant) that made us french fries that when i had the though that they where meet that how good they where beside of the other freshly made food. Armenians brought allot of goodness to the way we eat aswell aside from the many old dishes that only our grandma know how i hope his visit wont be all aabout skybar too

Beirut is AMAZING LEBANON wow the land of the gods, the oldest human settlers in human history stretshing from mesapotamia the phoenicians.i visited there many times can't stop myself from going there i'm addicted to this heaven on earth ,and you'll understand why this country has been in war since the phoenicians time from neighbours and distant ennemies when u visit.
@fusedblue The city I live in does not look like that. Just stating the facts, Look it up on the CIA fact book. It is listed as a third world country.
I feel for Lebanon, looks like most people there just want to live their lives and have peace.

Please God, help Lebanon to be free once and for all, of those evil people, named

I'm still confused about the attack. WHY are they not saying who attacked them???? Perhaps I missed it, but who or what country was attacking Beirut?
