So i guess we should only look at these studies of relativly small amounts of time, and ignore the ice core records that cover thousands of years. It says that there are huge spikes in co2 that they cannot understand, and that we don't cause those spikes(as people). what does the forming of fossile fuels have to do with what we are talking about ? What the last study also does is ignore the "little ice age" that happened in the 1500's. It also ignores a time when it was much warmer than it is now, the medieval warm period. That was in the 1300's. They also ignore the ice records from the holocene maximum period , where temps were alot higher then today. They were also sustained over about 3000 years. But the best part of that study is the last paragraph. They admit that there are massive variations in co2 that they cannot account for.
@RottenMagic I see you get your info from blogs such as Watts'. The medieval warm period was not much warmer than today. In the 50s it was 'as warm' but since then it has gotten much warmer. The little ice age was caused by solar variation combined with negative oscillation cycles and atmospheric aerosols via volcanism. There is no ignoring of anything as all these are clearly shown in the science.

So i guess we should only look at these studies of relativly small amounts of time, and ignore the ice core records that cover thousands of years. That is pretty much what alot of agw supporting scientist have done. When you study the earth, you can't just use short studies to make huge decisions. Once you understand earth science you will know that. I look forward to some more shaky absolute proof.

It says that there are huge spikes in co2 that they cannot understand, and that we don't cause those spikes(as people). what does the forming of fossile fuels have to do with what we are talking about ? What the last study also does is ignore the "little ice age" that happened in the 1500's. It also ignores a time when it was much warmer than it is now, the medieval warm period. That was in the 1300's. They also ignore the ice records from the holocene maximum period , where temps were alot higher then today. They were also sustained over about 3000 years. But the best part of that study is the last paragraph. They admit that there are massive variations in co2 that they cannot account for.

@RottenMagic I see you get your info from blogs such as Watts'. The medieval warm period was not much warmer than today. In the 50s it was 'as warm' but since then it has gotten much warmer. The little ice age was caused by solar variation combined with negative oscillation cycles and atmospheric aerosols via volcanism. There is no ignoring of anything as all these are clearly shown in the science.

The field is simply too politicized (that was one of the questions in the poll). I'm all for decarbonizing the economy, but to do it as a crash program on the basis of science that has become entangled within the political arena is disconcerting. Climatology needs a mechanism for depoliticization.

I am a scientist who heard Ehrlich's predictions about massive famines due to overpopulation that didn't happen. Climate science is giving science a bad name. These "climatologists" have no background data to make future predictions. This is all wrong, because there are flaws in their data collection. Amazing how all this started after the fall of the berlin wall. The climate is always changing, and there are thousands of contributors to the ecological c auses that affect climate.

Are you also not convinced that the satellite data showing that outbound radiation at CO2 absorption wavelengths, specifically around 15 micrometers, id decreasing and downward infrared radiation at those same wavelengths are increasing while solar output is declining?

wheather you belive in it or not, if its not us warming the world we cant fix it anyway. if it is us unless the world drops its emissions by 90% nothin is gonna work to fix it, leaders only say they wil drop by 10 or 20 % in 50 years. haha we are all doomed. either way so the discussion is pointless. everyones worried about their money, but too bad in 50 years there wont be any food to buy with you money, morons!

@bfpccbm lol the reason they dont release the weather pattern info is because if they do and people would realise that there is no global warming the carbon taxes would be destroyed. government wants you to pay for breathing and if you find out there is no global warming their plan will fail.

Yeah, it is very stupid from scientists to make people believe that Global Warming was caused by humans. However the weather in the latest years has been very extreme, we should prepare for the worse and not "try to prevent it" or balme it on others (ahem ambiental extremists, vegetarians and hippies ahem), since it's caused naturally.

I know this is a government sponsored channel, but in this case the truth benifits the government there. These bullshit climate change treaties would severely damage the Russian economy further.
