  • I just posted a video Response check it out

  • someone that loves makeup as much as me lol i get perfect cosmetic stuff from Gratis Makeup Samples - theyre ace

  • Comment removed

  • @CleverDjembe Gurl this foundation is good. I bought it around Christmas time and it is awesome. Makes your skin look flawless. Try it if u can. No joke

  • every foundation is bad for ur skin in general if ur looking for something sent from heaven u wont find it even if it looks good its still bad b/c its chemicals nothing natural. so a pretty good foundation is a step up from anything else.

  • anyone no where i can get it sephora does not sell the matifyin gel anymore

  • I'm sold your skin looks so flawless and beautiful! I'm going to Sephora's to bad they don't have one in Chicago

  • Where can you get the Makeup forever? I was on the website but you could only create a wish list

  • @Tbflirtin they are sold at sephora

  • sephora

  • @Tbflirtin its sold at sephora

  • lol @ the thumbnail pic of this video

  • Is Sephora a good brand. or is MAC better?

I have oily skin and i want a good concelour and eyeliner but at a modest price. what would you suggest to put for my face?

  • Sephora isn't really a brand, it's a store. They carry brand store cosmetics, but they just carry high end products. Dior, MUF, Urban Decay, etc.

  • That's partially true. They also do carry their own brand of quality products that still tend to be a little less expensive than the others.

  • @Khymeira Oh duhhh. rereading my comment just made me sound stupid. XD

  • i have the powder and it;s just ok.....

  • can u use this on an everyday basis?

  • why do you use a brush instead of just applying it with your fingers?

  • Your fingers contain oils that you do not want to get on your face.

  • You don't get an even application plus it's not hygenic to use just your fingers. For powder, foundation, or anything.

  • Hey I have a question for whoever knows the answer. Im kinda new to makeup

and well i have blocked pores and whenever i put makeup on it looks very obvious even mineral foundation. I use photofinish as a primer

can anybody tell me what im doing wrong or how i can fix it ?

  • Nice vid Erin. I have had the foundation for two months and still have not worn it. Rewatching this vid convinced me to try. Thanks!

  • Yay! Hope you love it!

  • I love all of your videos, you're such a very classy lady.

  • I love the HD makeup im 177 and I use the number 6 primer whitch is supposed to lighten dark spots and it works great. My mom who is the most critical person in the world didnt even notice that I had on make up

  • That's awesome!

  • can u do the mufe powder foundation... liquid foundation is kind too heavy for me... plus can you give me advice for a good primer... all the primer that i used so far were trash... i never tried mac... however, i use mac foundations... i am also very very very very oil...

  • makeup forever has a HD primer that i use. i loooove it. the smashbox one is amazing too ;]

  • I actually don't have the Duo Mat powder foundation, but I would love to try it!

  • where did you get the blemish clearing serum?

  • Sephora

  • @scandalousbeauty what shade are you in makeup forever you did not say we are the same shade nc50

  • You have no clue how much God through you just confirmed that I'm growing in my artistry...I have make up to do tomorrow and all I was sent was a picture of her...I ran to sephora only having her pic and picked out HD 175 Cafe. I then ran to my favorite place for tuts and here you are the same shade and you have the HD shade I bought....YAY!!! Thank you!

  • Congrats Love!

  • Amazing, thank you so much for sharing! Both your experiences and your make-up techniques! And I can't believe you met Johnny Lavoy, defiantly one of my dreams!

  • Thanks! Yeah he's the greatest! Give it time, you never know who you will meet!

  • Do you have the contact info for MUFE? I'm a MUA and I was looking for contact info to inquire about the MUA program and can't find it. Thanx!!!

  • The number for the store is located on the MUFE website under the store locations.

  • Thanx Erin! I dug a little deeper and found it (something I shouldve done b4 asking lol) Thank u again for responding!!!

  • what is the difference between the HD products that they have and the regular ones?

  • The HD products are created to be used on HDTV, they won't show as many streaks and look blotchy and cheap, in a nutshell. They are great for everyday use as well!

  • wow it makes your skin look so beautifully! not saying your skin didnt already look beautiful b4 :-)

  • I know what you mean!

  • You are great! Thanks .. Oh, you look beautiful, thanks for all the tips

  • ^where she from?

  • you look like janay from the game..great job

  • What Do You Use To Clean Your Face & Just Skin Care In General You Have Almost Completley Flawless Skin!

  • At the time I used Clinique, now I use Juice Beauty and Lush!

  • Is this product semi Matte?????

  • Yep!

  • hey there! thinkin of getting this. i got a question tho, how would you describe the coverage? I like mine full, because I have a lot of dark spots and red marks. how would you compare it with mac's foundations? thanks :)

  • I'd say medium to full. The more that you add, the more coverage that you'll get!

  • Thank you for introducing me to Makeup Forever HD. I've been a fan of bobbi brown since I was 19 and I am trying to branch out and try other foundations. I do not like MAC (foundations). So far I haven't found the quality and texture I like. I also can't seem to shake the $40 price point. You've given me something to look into. I love the results. You also have a similar complexion to me.

  • you make great videos, i loveee how you chat the whole through, but at the same time explain as you go along, it's great, really :D

  • you are flawless. and i too have about 98% perfect skin. the only problem i have is that i have combination/oliy skin and before i purchase this hd foundation, i apply moisterizer or primer? or..?

  • you are so beautiful and have the best skin!

  • Your makeup vids are the most informational I've seen on youtube! Just wondering...have you tried the MUFE HD Primer? I can't seem to find the All Mat product.

  • Wow, thanks VERY much! Yes, I have tried the Primer. It's a great product, although I don't use it personally. If you've got redness, sallowness, etc., then it will be an asset!

  • Thank you for the reply! I tried a sample today and compared it with Smashbox and I think I like the latter a bit better. My problem is not so much redness but oily skin...South Asian brownie right here xD

  • I love MUFE liquid foundation. I think I'm a 170 but I wanted to ask how the high def powder turns out in pics. I'm afraid that's it's gonna make me look ashy.

    THANKS!

  • Looks great in pictures! I wear it constantly.

  • FINALLY figured out my shade (175)...had to go through a round with 178 and 177, but I got it now. And it looks gorgeous....good lookin out on highlighting this one!

  • GREAT!!! We're foundation sisters! lol

  • will the liquid foundation ruin the mac 182 kabuki brush?

  • Not at all! Just wash it with a good shampoo.

  • i love this foundation,i have dry skin and works great! and covers everything.....no concealer needed ....just amazing on...

  • Yes indeed!

  • Hi Erin! This may have already been asked, but...what lip colors are you wearing in this vid??

  • What did you say you use for blemishes??? and where can I get it?

    Thank!!!!!

  • Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum @ Sephora!

  • Does this turn orange throughout the day? Because I have studio fix and after about 4 hours my face has an orange tint! Even when I use primers and oil controls..

  • Not at all. The color stays very true.

  • I was matched to 177 in HD and you're darker than me ...hmmm. MUFE is really hard to find here in the UK so I can't exactly go and get myself matched again. Even at the IMATS last mth, they didn't have any of the darker shades at MUFE! Ridiculous.

The 177 is okay on me I guess, but seeing you're 175 is making me paranoid now!

  • how do you sanitize your brushes?

  • Thanks for the video. I just ordered HD in 185 and am looking forward to trying it. Different foundations have just never worked for me. Everthing is just too red, too pale, or too messy. I tried MAC Studio Fix and looked too red. I tried Crush Groove, which was too messy. And I tried Cover Girl Queen which was also too red. I hope this one finally works

  • girl youve got to be kidding me! you dont even need foundation your skin is already flawless...

    i'm so jealous!

  • what do you mean matting agent? cause i have a kind of oily t-zone. And what was that powder?? is it best to use with only the HD foundation?

  • OMG!! I just cant seem to get matched up with the hd!! :/ First they gave me one too light , then too dark! I am soo sad!! In Mac, I am an nc40 ...can anyone tell me what shade they would use in hd for this kind of skin tone..Please :/ Thanks soo much <3

  • I am NC45 in MAC and I am 170 in MUFE. I hope this helps.

  • I love this foundation! I tried using MAC Studio Fix and broke out, this is just as good and I don't breakout. I apply it with my MAC 109 brush and my skin looks perfect.

  • Does the hd foundation break you out like the mac ones?? I'm debating on getting either the mac tech or the hd foundation :/

  • I broke out with MAC Studio Fix, I've been using MUFE HD Foundation for months and no breakouts! I think the HD does the gives the same look/coverage as Studio Fix minus the breakouts.

  • Definitely HD.

  • antdog23951 i would get the hd foundation!!

  • what is better HD or Matt Velvet. I notice you did a Matt Velvet vid....so whats better in your opinion?

  • Depends, I like them both. HD is my favorite, but Mat Velvet is really good too. Ummm, I don't know!

  • the reason I ask is because I put on a primer than a mattifier before putting on concealer, foundation, then powder. but I figured I can just wear mat velvet and skip the mattifier? your thoughts?

  • yeah I rock MUFE HD 175 as well *high 5*

  • u look like d woods from danitys kaneslil sister

  • i love your videos which would you suggest hd or face and body i dont know which to buy... please help...

  • HD. It's my favorite!

  • PLZ girly be careful muf hd is pure silica and it can cause cancer. Please look up ericaleighs videos on it. Not telling u what to do but i just want you to be safe.

  • cocoa butter as moisturizer? doesnt that make your skin more oily?

  • Nope.

  • which coco butter do you use?

  • I use Palmer's

  • does it break you out?? nd is it gud for taking picturess...lol or which foundation wud u recommend...caz i m goin out of country for a wedding nd will b taking alot of pix nd mac studio fix fluid ends up lukin fake nd my face lux WHITEEEE in da pixx :S

  • Looks great in pictures and never breaks me out!

  • I have both a Mineral Skin Finish Natural and someimes I use Mineral SatinFinish Foundation with it. Please Please do a tutorial on them both. Also what is the difference between HD makeup and others?????

  • LMAO at DEE LISH!!!!!!

  • Is it better than MAC Studio fix Fluid?

  • I want to try this, but I stay away from liquid foundation because I hate it on my clothes and phone, etc. After using the white powder does it dry and stay dry?

  • I used to think that way too. I've been using MUFE HD for about 2 weeks now and I haven't had that problem. As long as you set it with something like the HD powder, MSF natural, or even Fix +, it shouldn't come off. (But it's winter right now, so I don't know what the summer heat will do lol.)

  • i want to try this but there is no Sephora in my country!! i see you can order online but i think makeup is something you have to try on your skin..would u agree?

  • yes, typically i would, but if you're willing to give it a try sephora is kind enough to take anything back as many times as u need!

  • Great tutorial with so much info - thank you so much! Have you used MUFE Matt Velvet+? I wonder if it works better for the oily skin

  • pls can u do tutoria on mineral make up

  • Awesome application and contrats meeting and working w/ all those fabulous people! ;)

  • u r so lucky to work with fabulous idols of mine. i live in dallas and we have no names in here.

hook me up if u ever need a fabulous artistic makeup artist.

  • Love the Kabuki idea and I tried it and loved it. It is a good pacifier until I get my stippling brush.

The only thing I would add is I believe the Smashbox Kabuki is synthetic and I used a synthetic Kabuki. I wouldn't advise anyone to use a natural hair Kabuki with liquid foundation. Natural Kabukis would probably be too soft and natural hair absorbs foundations which is more ideal for loose powder.

  • this really helps... no one really tells what type of hairs work best on various foundation

  • are you a make artist?

  • do you apply the juice beauty to spots only or all over?

  • im oily and something that i just started using that helps with oil under my foundation is witch hazel....its great....

  • I have lots of MAC brushes, which do you think would work best with this? Thanks! Great video

  • try your 187 duo-fiber stippling brush. it's great, just be sure to work some moisturizer or fix+ onto your brush before applying foundation. :)

  • This is really helpful! I have been wondering if should spend $40 on a foundation, but it looks great!

    :)

  • would this be ideal for photo shoots????

the reason i ask is because im gonna be doing my first photo shoot and im not sure which foundation to use on the model.

please advise & THANK YOU in advance.

  • for oily skin and a matt coverage would you recomed this or mac studio

  • don't use the hd if you have oily skin, use mufe mat velvet+... it's matte and will give you better coverage especially if you're oily. :)

  • hi! i love your videos!! they are very influential and i think you are gorgeous as well. :)

I heard from another Youtuber that costal scents has a silica powder that is a dupe of the MUFE HD powder and works just the same way and get the same result. The costal Scent powder is $4 as well. Just wanted to know if you heard anything bout that? thanks.

  • Hi, I love your videos...I bought MUFE HD Foundation #177...I felt so guilty cuz I'm a MAC girl...but this stuff made me look FLAWLESS yet natural...MAC studio fix has a way of making me look "made-up"....but just so I wouldn't feel too bad about "cheating" on MAC, I used MSF (MAC) over it and it was Fabulous...I just got home from a full day out and my MUFE is still going strong!! Thanks so much for sharing your beauty secrets!!

  • u rso helpful and so beautiful!

  • WOW! This makes your skin look amazing! Im going to try this. Although we have very different complexions we have the same skin type. Thanks for this video!!!

  • I am also NC 50, can be NW 45 at times. I bought MUFE HD foundation in 175 also. Mannnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is absolutely beautiful on the skin. I love how silky it looked when I applied it. When you spray Studio Fix+ on top of it you look dewy and natural. I love, love, love this. I also bought the HD Powder. I think I am going to try the primer too. This is a must have item.

  • I love MUFE! Their products never fail when used correctly! I've been gone from Sephora since the HD Foundation debubt so I havent tried it yet! I am a huge fan of All Mat and the Mat Velvet foundation is great for oily skin! Thanks for filling us in on the HD product!

  • what product do u use for blemishes.. I couldn't understand you clearly..

  • It's called Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum

  • Are you talking about the yellow and caramel primers? I'm between #175 and #180 and the yellow primer gave my hand a white-yellowish cast. The caramel primer was like a liquid bronzer...it illuminated my hand and was a better match than the foundation (for me).
