  • Good video, cute flower, can't wait to try it. I went to your website and on page 6 there are instructions for a purse. Are the instructions somewhere else?

  • @aloha42007

the video demonstration for the purse is on my youtube channel.

the written instructions for the purse are at

.wonderhowtto where I am judytopaz /how-to-knit-little-purse

  • @aloha42007

oh, and the printed instructions are under the photo on the web-site on page 6.

  • I love this pattern! It's perfect for the sleepsack I am making. I am a beginner, so this is a perfect starter flower to knit :)

  • I love this flower! I made the sall and medium together and put them on hair clips to attach them to hats or head bands for my identical triplet girls! they are just so sweet! Thank you for posting!

  • I am so excited to make the headband and add this pretty little flower! You give wonderful and clear instructions, and I had no trouble finding your written instructions on wonderhowto. I've printed them out and hope to make the headband/flower as soon as I finish this scarf I've been working on. Thank you!

  • I don't see this pattern on the website or on wonderhowto. Is there a link I can click on?

  • Say what you want she still doesn't give very good instuctions xD

  • Can u plz send me a message of the pattern plz. Thank u.

  • @JamieHutchins11

the chart is on my web-site. click on patterns and go to page 6.

  • Will this work with other needles?because i dont have those

  • I love your videos, I now have this one on replay :) so I will be able to make this flower.

  • @Themillerwhites

thanks for writing. did you make the flower? please like me on my facebook page.

  • I made this flower easily and I haven't been knitting for many years (3 in total)!

  • @ecliptica83

glad you could make the flower easily. you've probably made even more by now. thanks for writing. please like me on my facebook page.

  • @Glewks well maybe she should speak up

  • man, how do i copy thuis thing, so complicated...

  • @snowfeatherz

written instructions and video are on my wonderhowto page where I'm judytopaz

  • You dont give good instructions ; so you might wanna work on giving more detailed instructions . You just go on leaving stuff out .you say knit 1 and you knit 3 , now that doesn't make sense ; so you've got some work to do on giving instructions better .

  • @missfame525 she was binding off 3. knit one, bind off 3

  • thank you for this. i tried making a similar flower from a pattern but it didnt turn out as i wanted. but this was perfect as a small flower for my hat. thanks again.

  • @NovemberLauren

glad you liked the flower. I love putting them on hats and headbands too. please keep watching and look for me on facebook too.

  • This was a great video. I had to rewind and watch it several times, and I did make a couple mistakes but it turned out great. No matter how good a video is, it's impossible to watch it once and do a perfect job.

  • @heartskristin

if you need written instructions they are on my web-site and also at wonderhowto under judytopaz. it's pretty hard to not have it come out even if you make a few mistakes. thanks for writing and look for me on facebook too.

  • Judy, were can I find written instructions to your videos?

  • @msyarnfreak

Some are on my web-site. I'm in the process of writing them all out at wonderhowto. look for judytopaz there.

Hope you find what you need. The flower is there.

  • Judy, were can I find written instructions to you videos?

  • loooved this flower...it's so easy to make and it is very cute! i just finished attaching one to a headband i made that is similar to yours. i love it already!

  • @2009mvnu

so glad to hear this. congratulations on making your headband. please keep watching and look for me on facebook too.

  • I am having trouble following you, is there any way to get the written patteren for this? this is such a beautiful flower thank you for posting this

  • @sweetpeanoel

you can find the written instructions on my page (judytopaz) at wonderhowto

  • how do you pull it through? i don't get that part wasn't that clear!!!! please reply

  • @mimipookie1

just cut off the yarn at the end and with a crochet hook or needle pull it through to close the sides. watch again.

  • your videos are so helpful! i bet you know just about everything there is to know about knitting. :)

  • @RandomGoth1000

There is always something new to learn in knitting.

  • can you do a video where u slow down?

  • @yooalexandra

SORRY IF THIS WAS TOO FAST FOR YOU. PLEASE WATCH IT AGAIN. SOME OF MY EARLIER VIDEOS ARE SLOWER.

  • @knittingtipsbyjudy its alright i finally got it after sometime

  • @yooalexandra

yay! have fun making flowers. they can be used in so many different ways.

  • I'm confused....when you 1st start, I see you K1, then K the second one to bind off, and so on until you've bound off 3. But the second time, it looks like you're actually K2 until you begin to knit the stitches for binding off. May it would help me if you either showed or told how many stitches you have on the right needle after each set of K1, then bind off 3. Am I making myself clear or am I so confused nothing is making sense?

  • just being curious here... is it possible to bind off more than the 3 to get an even more rippler(spell check) effect?

Say, if someone wanted to bind off 5 instead of 3, what type of effect would that have on the pattern?

  • @cometmoon

    sure! give it a try.

  • Thanks Judy your vids always helpful :)

  • @TinyyChan

thanks for letting me know you like my videos. please keep watching and look for me on facebook too.

  • what a nice compliment. thank you. keep watching for more.

  • thank you so much I have been looking for a knitted flower project that doeesn't invole felting it.

  • yes, I love this one too. have fun with it.

  • Adorable! Thanks!!!!

  • thanks. I love it too.

  • It looks like there is a couple of rows knitted before you start the flower?

  • no, just follow my instructions and you'll see.

  • Another great tutorial! It reminded me of a tutorial I wanted to request as well...could you make a tutorial on how to do a cheveron pattern or one with horizontal waves, or 'ripple' as I've seen it called? I have a pattern for one, but no matter how many times I try, I always end up with extra stitches after the first couple of rows.

Thanks again for this flower tutorial! Great for spring things, which is right around the corner!
