  • Make this into english and put it on the computer or PSP.

    o3o

  • @RealDemonlie why not play the original osu game on the pc?

  • This is why I got a DS

  • This game look fucking epic

  • Heh, I don't get a thing of the story of the game.

Anyway, it's really fun to play ._.

  • I am confused. Did this game come out first or "Osu!" (desktop game) did? o.O

Anywaaay. I am so playing this game.

  • Why does the american version have agents?

  • @Dylstew2 In America, male cheerleaders = gay

  • @10samm10

    hmm... yeah.... kind of..

    But still,who cares about that?

  • best game on NDS ever.

  • @lordvespatron This and The World Ends With You

  • i still don't understand this game

  • can't understand a word, but gotta get this game.....^_^

  • AAAAHH!!! IT HAS FMA! I MUST HAVE THIS GAME!!!!!!

  • OUENDAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!

    EPIC GAME.

  • epic

  • nothing beats japanese voice overs

  • I want everyone to know Elite Beat Agents has got NOTHING on this. The japanese version is so much funnier and the song selection is practically amazing compared to the annoying poor song choices for the NA ver. Even if you can't understand Japanese, I recommend this over the NA ver all the way.

  • @okinawacakes I want you to know i dont care.

  • @okinawacakes Ironically enough, in Japan, EBA is considered much funnier and most of Oundan's songs are considered to be annoyingly poor, while EBA's song selection is considered to be amazing in comparison. Weird, huh?

  • @HouseLyrander

That's such a lie, EBA was only released in North America, South Korea and Europe so not that many Japanese even played that game. Also the original Ouendan music uses popular Japanese music which made the game successful in Japan in the first place and the reason EBA was created. So there's no way the Japanese doesn't like the song selections in Ouendan.

  • @BigOChunk Actually, EBA was sold in Japan, there just wasn't a Japanese language VERSION released. Instead, the North America version was sold. Also, it was Ouendan's gameplay that made it popular in Japan. Most people either disliked the song covers or considered most of the songs vapid pop music (just like with EBA in North America). Furthermore, EBA was made because Ouendan sold better as a US import than it did domestically. Lastly, I DO have a life, just not much of one.

  • @HouseLyrander

No, EBA was created because the Japanese people are worried that the Western market doesn't like J pop and their culture. Ouendan was more successful in Japan, iNis and Nintendo just wanted to share the game with the other parts of the world so they created a version with a more Western feel hoping it would appeal more. But they were still disappointed by the number of sold copies in North America. They expected to sell 300,000 but only sold approximately 179,000.

  • @BigOChunk Alright, true, that IS why they decided to release EBA instead of making an translated version of Ouendan, but Ouendan's smash hit success in import sales WAS why they thought it would sell. And I WILL admit that I don't REALLY have a life, but who needs a life when there's high speed internet.

  • @HouseLyrander BUT EBA IS Ouendan!

  • @LittleBIGRacer I... won't argue with that... Eh, I still have my high speed connection.

  • @okinawacakes The songs on this game are terrible. You like them because they're japanese. Learn to appreciate the classics, my dear.

I don't see how EBA can have "nothing on this", seeing as they're pretty much exactly the same, apart from the song choices, language and equally stupid "stories".

  • @voerify Ah, you must be someone who either never played the game or found it difficult. They are 'silly' not 'stupid'. It's called being campy. And I've never played Osu! but I love EBA and I am sure this game is just as fun and addictive.

  • @voerify

I can say the same reason for you not liking the songs, you don't like it cause you don't understand Japanese and it feels too foreign to you. And if you look carefully, the dance moves in Ouendan and EBA are significantly different. The Ouendan dancers puts more energy into each thrust of their arms and legs like they're fighting, the EBA dancers are too gentle with their dance moves in comparison, especially the guys.

  • @okinawacakes Each their own. If you love music it won't matter--the games are just fun.

  • I believe "ripping off" the game was the point. It was for custom songs.

  • 00:33 That's the actor guy playing the groom in EBA!!

  • That's correct, but there were several cameo appearances in EBA and Ouendan 2

  • Por q carajo y coñeta tiene q siempre haber ese japones chino o lo q sea ¬¬ hablando de esa manera.Buen video

  • 1) I've never had any problems playing with the mouse. It comes just as naturally as tapping.

    2) You have a horrible sense of rhythm, it seems.

    3) If it were a rip-off, they wouldn't openly say that it was inspired by the DS games, would it?

    4) This thing was made by one guy, give him a break. Making a cheer squad to go along with any user-generated song would be insanely complicated.

    5) osu! has replays and ONLINE multiplayer. Did you even do your research? =/

  • this game screams epic manliness

  • I really wish they would bring a direct port to the usa

  • That would be very, very stupid of them. You can get it easily on eBay, anyways. xP

  • Yeah but I don't know about you but

I sorta can't speak or read japanese

  • It's 100% self-explanatory. That's why the game has such high import sales. I've never had a single problem understanding anything from the game, and I didn't know a lick of Japanese at the time I got it.

  • 100?

I'd say maybe 5 of them, are actually self explanatory.

But oh well, I guess I don't know, so why not I'll give it a try.

  • Due to Ready Steady Go, Over The Distance, Neraiuchi, etc. It'd be very hard to do (due to music copyrights)

  • fucking great game!

  • im stuck on 3 guy with the last song

  • Elite Beat Agents is the same game as this but just the western version of it

  • ... DS Version still better

  • i wana get this game!

    its not in US huh?

  • because of the japanese cultural reference (japanese cheerboys) and the J-Pop songs the game was deemed unmarketable in the US. iNis created another game that plays basically the same, but stars different three main characters and American pop songs, it's called "Elite Beat Agents".

  • this game has nothing connected to elite beat agents?

this this game come out first or EBA?

  • Same developer, iNis. That's it. the main gameplay remains the same, but the main characters, situations and the song selections are all different. the songs in Ouendan are 90s and mid 2000s J-Pop songs, the songs in EBA are American pop songs, (Madonna, Ashlee Simpsons). To be honest Ouendan has better songs compared to EBA.

  • the pc version that is simply called osu!, is available in english and you can download your own songs for it.

  • Seriously, thinking back, is there a mode that is that slow? It's been a while since easy, but I think it was faster then that even, heh.

  • I don't think so, I think it was purely for the commercial.

  • actually easy was about the same speed, so it wasnt a special commercial mode or anything like that

  • Well then, I just got served.

  • lol

  • OSU!! o/ !!

  • Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!

  • OUENDAN! Lol. This game rulzes. :D!

  • LOL

  • Does anyone know of the autoplay/debug code for this? I've only found the one for the 2nd one.

  • this is my fav game on ds.

  • 1 Word B.A.D.A.S.S

  • i think i saw agent j...

  • i got the pc verson only

  • Can you play this on an American DS?

  • Yeah, the DS is region free.

    The new DSi won't though.

  • IT'S NOT!? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!??? I wasn't gonna buy the DSi anyway, because of the removed GBA slot. But if that were'nt enough...?

  • the DSi pretty much proves Nintendo would rather become a standard electronics maker instead of a very cult and respected video game name. In other words, Nintendo fucked over its fans for the casual people with "useful" stuff. Believe me, it all started with Animal Crossing.

  • @RazmanEX - The release of Animal Crossing caused an alternate timeline where Nintendo become a casual game developer.

We must go back in time to prevent the release of the original japanese Animal Crossing on N64!

    QUICK MARTY!

    INTO THE DELOREAN!!

  • @agentgamma This is one of the most difficult games i've ever played, compared to everything else nintendo is letting onto the ds and wii.

  • @agentgamma BUT DOC-SEMPAI

ZA DEROREANU-5000 WON'T START UP UNRESS WE USE MORE POWER

BUT A STORM WON'T COME FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS

    O

    O

    OUENDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND

  • @agentgamma

How about not? Animal Crossing is awesome. Besides, who cares if it's casual?

  • The DSi is only region locked for the DSiWare games NOT actual DS cartridges ;)

  • good

  • so that means u cant use an R4 card on a DSi? XDDDD i love my DS Lite

btw, i like animal crossing, i have it on my wii and soon on my ds

  • Old R4-like cards won't work on the DSi, some newer one do; I think the Acekard 2 says it works on the DSi,. Simply, you will probably need a new card.

  • so in america this is the original japanese version than stuff changed to make Elite Beat Agents?

  • Yup.

  • lol, looks amusing.

  • OSU TATAKAE OUENDAN

  • am i the only one who thinks the main cheerleader dood looks like sol badguy?

  • he only looks a little :/

  • i finaly know his name i feel like a dork lol

  • whats his name?

  • his name is ippongi ryuta

  • Good job!!

  • Ouendan !!

  • omg i am soo noob at this game lmao..

cant beat the first stage :P

  • The song they show in the beginning with the 4 numbers being in a square was the first song on Normal. That was the first song I ever got an S on.

  • exellent use of touchscreen

  • i just got the game!

  • Oh, this is hilarious.. I want to play this game ^_^

  • Let me rephrase your comment:

You have to play this game :D

  • TOTALLY! (sorry for posting this 2 months after you posted i just had to xD)

  • I'm importing this game in a couple days

  • Oh damn. I SO wanna play this: It looks hilarious!

I got so much love for my Elite Beat Agents (Especially J) but I'd like to test out these guys too!

  • OUENDAN...ARE...OSU!!!!!

    (Cheerleaders/Agents Are Go!)

  • Okay, maybe osu doesn't mean go, it means hey, but in some cases its hey!!!!

  • I played this game on DS before :o

maybe not this exact version, but it was fun

    then I descovered it online

    and

    It's amazing <3

  • this is ouendan 1...

    not 2 ....

  • Lol, WORLD'S MANLIEST CHEERLEADERS! XD

  • When showing the trailer, they should play the music that is actually from the game.

  • for those of you who dont speak japanese or just cant recognize this, this is EBA2 (Elite Beat Agents 2), from what ive seen this is going to be a great game, i love EBA so this is gunna kick so much ass the haters will be shitting out their mouths! lol

  • Somebody sell theirs to me.

  • sweet i lve ready stedy go

  • sweet i lve ready stedy go

  • guys i want to play ouendan 2 on no$gba how should I set up the settings i need to become bancho~~!!

  • No you mean it the other way around Ouendan is like the main game, Elite beat agents is just a bad english spin off of Ouendan.

  • EBA Isn't a bad game.

  • I guess so, but some of the dance moves are a little gay, I guess that's the only reason why I dislike it so much

  • I've played both and the Japanese version is far superior to the English version

  • I agree!! I have both. Ouendan 1 and 2 with EBA.

  • i only played eba but now i'm going to play ouendan 1 and 2 :P i love Japanese language!!

i'm even going to teach myself japanese ;)

  • Good luck teaching yourself the japanese language. It's tough work.

  • thanks :D

  • You're welcome ^^

  • Finally, someone that isn't wearing weeaboo blinders when they talk about EBA. I hear nothing but "OMG the musics not japanese!!? EBA suxx!!!!!" from the fantards. Popular music is popular music; I guarantee most of the non-Japanese people playing the game for the "superior Japanese music" can't even understand Japanese.

EBA's still damn fun, still got a great look, and is totally on par with Ouendan. EBA makes me laugh out loud and Agent J is my hero; I wish I had a tornado hairdo like his.

  • whos cares there both awsome

  • Where is this game sold at?

  • Japan

  • Where in Japan?

  • そうだね

  • what?

  • そうだね of course

  • I can't speak Japanese

  • そうだね = soudane though I've never heard of that place before

  • I9 jsut noticed the guy the girl hands the paper to is the same guy who is in the EBA song makes no diffrence LOL I fell like plaing quendan it looks harder then EBA-the western version of quendan that palys western songs.

  • ..And I'm playing it right now. :D

  • I really REALLY want Ouendan. I had a dream about it last night- but I reserved Brawl so now I have to save up to buy that and I don't have enough money to buy Ouendan. I don't know if I should be sad or happy..?

  • wow the game plying look interesting!

    seem funny wanna play it

  • I have the game. You should buy it, it's awesome ^_^

  • lol fear

  • does anyone have a copy of the music played at the main menu?

  • WANT ONE

  • READY STEADY GO is a brill song on that.

  • Kickass!

  • ooo i want that!!

  • i cant afford shipping + handling on ebay so where can i get this game?

  • sometimes there are stores that sell mported games. I have one near me. You should ask some people if they know of any.

  • Go to PlayAsia. I got this game with free shipping for 45 bux.

  • i have the game and ouendan 2 and its bad ass the songs are great and some of them are from anime like eureka seven and full metal alchemist the game rulz for a japanese game this has more suriouse moments thean randomness

  • the trailer kinda sucks no offence but they should have show some part where it is really insane or goes fast

  • That's because he is. >.>

  • Huh... the teacher lookin' guy at 00:33 looks like the actor from "Makes no Difference" in EBA... hm, weird.

  • Yeah, there's a few Cameos of Characters from OTO who appear in EBA.

  • To SmonG and ianwagj:

another example is the anouncer in the horse level in ouendan, he also appears in the multiplayer levels of EBA

  • Yeah some songs i hate in EBA but the majority of the songs are good the only let down is they're all covers. but as cover songs go they're not bad. to bad they couldn't get the original songs that would be awesome.

  • EBA songs doesn't seem that good from my ears.

That's why I'd rather go for the japanese version.

Anyhow - I really want this game!

  • i also want this game but most sites charge $40-$60 for it. -_- but i still say it is worth the price.

  • I think of these guys as the elite beat agents Japan because they only help people in Japan. While the elite beat agents help people in America. With the exception of Leo. Regardless EBA and Ouendan are both awesome games and are really essential to any DS collection. no matter what country you live in.

  • I still think the Beat Agents can kick these bathrobe wearing pansies... but I guess without them, we wouldn't have EBA.

  • EBA's gameplay was fun. But I didn't like the songs.

Ouendan's songs...about half of them I really love.

  • I just ordered for this game and from the looks of it it's gonna be worth it.

  • Indeed, best Import game ever!
