You hung in there man, but those 125's are pretty quick stock AC Schnitzer tuned, now thats insane, I have a 3.0 m3 now, but Im gonna do a swap one day for the 3.2 Euro spec motor, the highlight of my life to say the least.

@Hahmed17 Better option is to keep the 3.0 engine and add a 6-gear box from the 3.2.

You will notice a lot more difference in acceleration and torque.

I used to have a 328i with a 325i manifold complete m3 exhaust and a 6-gear box from the m3 3.2 and the 3.15 differential of a 3.0 M3. The 3.23 differential from an M3 3.2 is too heavy and will add too much weight to your car.

The 328 is the only non M car wich fits an M3 gearbox., with ecu remap i did 230 km/h in 5th gear.

Hey Erik! I can't believe you were beaten, man.

The 35i cannot be as fun, sound as nice and rev as high, though. A high-revving N/A engine is what BMW Motorsport is all about.

Your car is the internet benchmark for all 3.2 cars out there. I used to own an E36 3.0, now an E46. BMW I-6 for life! :)

A standard m3 does 156kw on the wheels on these dynos. End of the day my car was much stronger than the e46 m3 and the 335i, So im happy haha

My e36 was just as quick, pulled a 335i also chipped til end 4th gear. After that I had my car chipped by R-tech Mosselbay South africa, backpipe fitted by tnt exhaust, and ganied 30 odd kw on the wheels. Car made 184kw on the wheels

250kw at the flywheel is good, but 184kw at the wheels is a lot less?!

My car is stock and does about 239kw at the flywheel and 208kw at the wheels.

I'm from South Africa, had a 3.2 M3 just like this one. I raced a chipped 335i when my car was still stock, and outran him till end fourth gear. Had my car chipped by R-tech in Mosselbay, gained 20kw on the wheels, had an tnt backpipe fitted, gained another 10kw. Car ended up at 184 wheel kw. Thats 250kw at the flywheel. Sold the car, next day it was trashed

I am just buying my First M3 (3.2 6spd) This weekend, and am really excited as I have wanted one for 10 years.

I am keeping my E30 2.7ltr stroker I only had the cash for one with slightly high ks. I am wondering if you dont mind how many ks are on your clock.

I will be Dyno'ing mine in August, so hopefully I will return some decent figures as I am worried about the power loss over the 180,000kms its done -still happy to be owning one!

This 135i is not remapped I had the experience racing both with my Megane 270bhp. The 135i left me like it was nothing but the E36 M3 only took about 3 car lengts on me. Eric I would like to see another one with the 135i really mapped!

I've raced a Seat Leon with 290HP/408Nm

and won. Above 160km/h i started to leave him with big steps. So i would also leave the Megane with 270hp behind me with not to much trouble. The owner of the 135i told me that his car is remapped again and now runs extreemly good. The 135i produces now 375HP/560Nm and raced a C63AMG from 120-240 and won :-)

Then it's time for another match I think if the 135i has been remapped as it should be your M3 will be no match for it just like my car is no match for your M3. I had a few encounters with BMW's and lost only to a 335D, 135i and E36 M3. The 330i, 530D 328i lost to my MRS.....But that 135i is amazing when it's remapped.

I know, a remapped 135i is really fast, but don't forget in this movie, as you can read in the comment, the 135i starts in 4th gear and i'm starting in 3rd! So the 135i is also really quick in this movie. Have you also seen my other movie against a remapped 335d touring and a remapped 535d?

No thanks, the 135i isn't mine. And is already tuned up very good by Schnitzer. This 135i has been there twice now and makes out 375hp/560Nm ! The owner already 'killed' a Merc. C63AMG :)

The e36 is heavier that's correct. But the difference between my M3 (1490KG) and for example the M3 e30 Cecotto (1330KG) is only 160kg, maybe less than you expected.

Hi, my uncle owns the Schnitzer car. During this run, the BMW did not have the tune, he only had the Schnitzer exhaust. What you see here is a stock 135i ECU. Later, Schnitzer installed the correct software-version. Complete different car! It had some to to with the BMW N54 TT eniges before/after february 2008 and the ECU.

Because i had to lift the pedal from the metal at about 17s. The 135i was slightly faster in the higher revs. But much faster in the lower revs.

The 135i I bought as a side project, I intend to do extensive modifications to the car. I also own an X5, an SL63, Aston martin Vantage and a couple of old Mustangs... I suppose im just stupid enough to own all of those cars at once.

I beat a stock 135i with my 98 M3 that has 130000miles on it . I only have bolt ons and cams some mild tuning . So for me the price of the newer 135i isnt worth it . Not to mention the e36 M3 is now going for under 15000$ its a performance bargain thats hard to beat .

You can drive it on track and on road. 135i is nice car but with lack sport feeling, no lsd and for 10 years younger car he dont show any progress. How will perform //m3 e36 with two turbos? He blow away any m6 or m5 on any road.

Did you do tests from lower speeds/revs? 120km/h in IIIrd is not the best rev point for that twinturbo engine. I can see on the movie that the guy is a bad driver, he should shift much earlier to IV or even V. I am sure that the 135i ACS would be a lot faster, then shown here.

A collegea of mine, has just got his ACS1. What the fuck, but that thing is so fast in acceleration. I cannot come up with him - at all - with my Porsche Cayman S.

On high speeds, difference is very small.

We also did one sprint from about 85km/h starting in 3rd gear. At that point the 135i showed it's muscles. It pulls really hard from the lower revs! The owner did 3 weeks ago a sprint against the new M3 V8. From lower revs the 135i was even a little faster!

Mine is standard 321HP accoording to BMW but on the dyno we came on 325HP. But i didn't chip it.
