@dxproductions100 btw, when I was in a Japanese wok resteaurant in London. You got wifi acces with your meal. You just had to ask and you got a menu chart that also had the acces code on it.

So while we were waiting, my friend could look up some opening/closing times of things we wanted to visit. :D worked like a charm.

One possible way with some corporate sponsorship, have a lucky few rich ass bugs start opening their wallets. For pay wifi, it shouldnt be terribly expensive either,like $10.00 or less depening which way or how they want to charge for unlimited use,but it would be a hell a lot cheaper than cable co's wired internet where geting socked with a $60.00 monthly bill, which is ridiculous. I think nobody shouldnt have to pay no more than $20.00 monthly on cable or dsl.

I notice that a couple resturaunts actaully do advertise free wifi, were as starbucks thinks they're all high and mighty because they have it yet charge money. In place of the i phone I use a PSP, it makes great for checking signals in seconds and I can check my e-mail surf the web (actaully pretty good), or play games multiplayer (socom is just insane online even on the PSP).

I don't mind paying £10 a month for Wi-Fi, but because all the access points in the UK are operated by one of three or four companies you have to subscribe to all of them to make sure you can get access at your chosen location and not hunt around for the one that's operated by the guys you're paying. I'd be happier with some sort of universal access; £15 a month for any Wi-Fi.

McDonalds is a Hot Spot. One thing I look for when traveling, does the Hotel/Motel offer Free WiFi. If not. Does it offer at least wired internet. Thoses are my #2 things I look for when traveling and picking a place to stay at.
