  • my gsd lays on the floor and stares at me all night when she is not at my side. They truly have eyes to our souls and theirs are the eyes to theirs.

  • Beautiful dogs and a great tribute

  • Dogs are not born evil! They are raised just evil!

Here in Germany are much Dogattacks.. Only the owner of the dogs are to blame for the attacks! Not the animals themselves! If they are then caught by the police, they are put to sleep! Greetings from Germany

Attacks by dogs do not occur more often then elsewhere. The hysteria and ignorance about dogs (especially bigger ones) is just worse in Germany.

  • Beautiful video. I added it to my facebook page. Hopefully, this will move someone to adopt a needy soul. There is nothing like the devotion of a GSD

  • i got my two girls from breeders ,black and tan / black and silver .id love to get a pure white one yet ,maby some day .the sticker on my truck sezzz it all ,if its not a germanshepherd its just a dog

  • i have to agree all german shepards have souls i love every animal in the world

  • Emily was my best friend, she's the only one that knew how I felt...

  • i have a 5 year old female ,i love her so mutch she has put the dents in every thing i own ,i cant emagin life with out her thanks for the vid

  • I applied to adopt a female German Shepard. I learned she was abused and neglected by her previous owners. She was found underweight, had a poor coat, and heartworm positive, with a chain wrapped around her neck. However, she is nearing the end of her heartworm treatment and gaining weight. I hope I am approved for her adoption and I can give her the life she deserves.

  • Too scared to adopt, sorry. My boy is 7mths now and want to bond with the dog, and no puppies for adoption here. I want to see the parents and sibs. I would like to adopt a friend for him later.

  • I own a 10 year old shepard and she is the best dog ever. From a distance when i look in her eyes i see a sad dog but inside she is a happy person. I still cant belive she is 10 years old.

PS For people who like dogs watch the film Marley and me

  • love the ears!!! o ya sorry about your loss

     :(

  • Wonderful video -- literally had me in tears: I would love to adopt a second GSD needing rescue, maybe next year. They are such special dogs indeed!

And thanks for the nice comment on my GSD, Carter.

  • I have a 5 yr old GSD and golden. My golden is a true golden, wants attention all the time, but female shepherd is her own person. When she wants attention she shows with her eyes, which I have learned to read. GSD's tell the world in their eyes, atleast to there owners.

  • Beautiful video.. I had a four-year-old female German Shepherd, that just turned five, that I had to have put to sleep September 23rd, 2008 due to an unknown illness. There are no dogs like these. They are a gift from God, and I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to spend four wonderful years with my beloved Shelby girl. I still cry. I don't think the pain will ever go away. Thanks for sharing.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. I have a 5 yr old female and love her to death. When I look into her eyes, all I see is love staring me back. Incredible dogs, great companions.
