xzzzzz, boring as most addicts thinking they're flying high...lol, yeah right, she is awesome...uhmm not...most bar bands could sing this better, she never got it back (nasal membranes dripping), too bad, she could have had 20 more years to buy her coke...instead of 3 or 4, then replaced it with food and got fat
I can't believe people talk about Stevie like they know her personally! You guy's only know what she tells you, so stop talking like you know something about her, because you don't.!
She was a wreck by 1983. All of the touring, late nights, partying, cocaine, cock, booze, cigarettes, poor diet and lack of sleep had really taken their toll.
@MyAccount4TrollingU Troll indeed, Quote all you want, Honey the evidence is right here...fabulous performance i can draw little bits and pieces from, even now to model mine after. GREAT musicians with her as well...I'll be researching them!
On Showtime back in 1983, they started her performance with her 'I'm glad you stayed' speech. I wished they'd showed this song! 'Gold Dust Woman' is the embodiment of who Stevie is as a performer, and she just was sizzling on it here!
I wanted to see Stevie Nicks live but wa hoping to win a contest but didn't get picked even at 63 years old Nicks can still rock out and perform and many upstarts should learn a lot from her.
Give me a break! Do those people who don't recognize Stevie's contribution to music and respect her status as a legend really think that even a handful of today's supposed rock stars are still going to be selling albums and filling arenas 40 years from now? Give the Queen of Rock and Roll her proper dues.
Stevie is an idol in rock and roll history. she has a great voice and will always be remembered. The back up band here leaves a lot to be desired. Stevie was great. The rest of the band not so.
@ScottT248 They were fantastic musicians (Billy Payne, Roy Bittan, Russ Kunkel)--some of the best in the business--but when they played with Stevie on albums & in concert, they just didn't show a lot of imagination. They didn't take chances or invest any personality in their arrangements. They were content, I guess, to just being session players.
utterly utterly inappropriate organ vamp - he thinks this is a blues/soul song ? I dunno it the keys player is a sideman or a big name - regardless the moody slowburn intro of a singer's signature hit is NO place to be showboating
@boomaga He's a big name, a very big name--Billy Payne of Little Feat. It just goes to show that being a brilliant technician doesn't necessarily mean you get the subtle feel of a song.
@AstralPlaner Yeah Nicks is great but the lead guitarist, while a million times better than me, could not carry Lindsey Buckingham's guitar strap.............
the guitar player is Waddy Wachtel, a well traveled LA session musician for Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon, et al and played lead on Stevie's first solo albums
And Waddy also STILL plays with Stevie's band. :) He did take a few years away, back in the late 80s early 90s, but for the most part...he's been pretty constant.

You all need to get a life and some musical taste....Stevie is a musical legend and she is truly gorgeous both now and before. She sings songs that tell a story and her voice is like no other...There will only be one Stevie and trying to bash her only makes u guys look like idiots. Get a life.

Stevie walks off stage to empty her colostomy bag all through this concert. To complicate matters, she has Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The gas sometimes backs up and explodes her bag. That's why she always wore long dresses. You lesbians really like her, don't you.

I played this song after stealing my daughters Hannah Montana doll and lining it with warm fresh liver.I still remember its soothing lyrics as I pummeled that doll for hours.I love Stevie,Hannah Montana...and of coarse liver! Eeaaw!
I was there both nights she played the second night before Bowie, southern cal and 300 thousand strong she cried alot that night especially when she sang some women come and they will go. Bowie was pretty bad to with Stevie Ray Vaughn on guitar. 18 and a hard on those were the days.
Stevie was so great that I left 30 minutes into Bowie. Took 2 hours to find my car, they were all covered in dust (gold?) and looked the same in the dark. Those were the days!
If you like Fleetwood Mac you need to check out the new Coffee House Gypsies album entitled "The Artist" ~ the lyrics booklet has a dedication in it to Fleetwood Mac
I Love Stevie!! I love the way she changes the way she changes the way she performs each song when it's performed live!!! I' m obsessed and enthralled every time I see her
