I love this short film. The first time I watched it was a while back before any of the choke trailers were out. I sure wish that movie was never made. Great job with the short film! It definitely mirrored the feel i took away after reading the book.

Looks like I was right that this short film you've done for "Choke" is a hell of a lot better than what Hollywood try to do.

They essentially made Choke into a very cheesy looking romantic comedy.

Book was good... the movies gonna suck. but you did a good job on the short film. you made it clear and put in the little details people wouldnt notice that are also in the book. and thats why i think the movie will suck. they just dont seem capable of making a good movie out of books anymore. anyway good job.

Wonderful little piece! And people complaining about the monotone, listen to Chuck read sometime. Palahniuk reads the audio version of Choke himself, and the narrator's monotone is dead on. Also remember, the narrator in Fight Club is also monotone. It's part of the detachment that Chuck creates in his characters. Also, great visual of Denny calmly eating the food off of Vincent's plate while he writhes on the floor. This is really great.

I tell ya this man, the tone of this looks far better than the way the Hollywood version that's coming out fairly soon. This has the same tone and look as "Fight Club"

And how the scenes melt into one another, Denny to facts to Victor, it feels like its being filmed just like it was written.

this is good. the acting is pretty good. but my only critique is the music. you've made this too much like fight club. choke has a whole different feel to it. i hope clark gregg makes it different than fight club. fight club was a great movie, but i just think that it should be its own.

okay first off let me just say that the musical score is amazing, that and the way you flash to victor on the operating table both remind me a lot of the Fight CLub movie, second of all is your name seriously Patrick Bateman? If it is that is awesome, for those who don't know what i am talking about Pat Bateman is the main character of the amazing book/movie American Psycho.
