Unfortunately, the MPO soundtrack doesn't include the background music you're looking for.
Don'tcha just hate it when companies do that with their soundtracks? They put in a song in their product that you like, then they don't even have the common courtesy to release that song in their soundtrack. Dx
I know. I mean, if you're going to create a musical score for a film, game, tv show, cartoon, or something, you should try to release all of the tracks for it, not keep some and throw out the others.
Im not really sure if that is Johnny Sasaki's dad, since he was such a spaz in the Snake Eater storyline in 1964. But 5 years can change a person with much training. Johnathan dies in this portable ops storyline. Johnny Sasaki debuts in the Shadow Moses storyline with Solid Snake 40 years later. Having to build a love interest with Meryl while guarding her prison cell along with 60 year old DARPA CHIEF Donald Anderson (AKA SIGINT)
It's not Johnny Sasaki's Grandfather. Other than the slight difference in name, there's also the fact that Jonathan was speaking in a distinctly Russian accent. Johnny's Granddad sounded more American. Also, he doesn't have a J marked on his Balaclava. Another important note was that he responded to Snake's name as if he never met him before. Had that been Johnny's Granddad, he would have been able to recognize him.
This is my favorite scene from Portable Ops and one of my favorites out of the whole Metal Gear series. It really shows Big Bosses qualities of a true leader.
Sorry FifthHorseman. I looked though the whole Portable Ops sountrack but they don't have that track being played. Too bad, I was hoping it would have it as well.
