For Hanmi Handachi, Katatetori Kaitenage (7:36-): I was a bit confused by the initial atemi, because Sensei's attack didn't seem to quite reach the uke. Isn't the proper distance for that mune-tsuki a bit shorter than shown? What am I missing?

Oh! I missed that uke moved back slightly as the tsuki came in. The punch served to change uke's position and generate more distance for Kaitenage.
