  • I WILL ALWAYS TAKE THIS, OR MOST OTHER LIVE VERSIONS, OVER THE STUDIO VERSION..ANY DAY !!!

  • Is Robert pointing out a t-shirt seller to Peter Grant? If so I assume this guy was only able to take solids through a straw for sometime after

  • @pykkervots I'm pretty sure the MSG authorities made sure that wouldn't happen again ... not at a Zeppelin concert

  • The Bong remains the same.

  • who can perform this good today, no one , not one guitarist can accomplish what page did , talking original art on guitar on stage at a young age, hats off to our masters from the 70s.

  • Wolverhampton next ,1-1 draw sweet Calcutta Rain,Geordies Robert!

  • damn, look at this bassline! JPJ is genius!!

  • I like how the pictures are all from the same time period at least...makes for a fun listen. Compare that to some to post a song from 75 and show knebworth pictures!

  • even though robert plant was sick he Still KICKED ASS AT SINGING MAN you cant beat the best singer ever

  • john paul jones FTW!!!!!

  • Led Zeppelin melhor nao pode existir, sempre Led,valeu.

  • wow la mejor banda de rock

  • Bonham's fill at 2:00 blew my mind

  • @beableish it's ZOSO, you fucking asshat.

  • i don't have words for this song....is super-amazing!

  • 6 people didnt see that guy that selling the t-shirts over there

  • If you are interested in hearing some of LZ's influence - get the album Duke by Genesis in 1980. The youtube clips of them live in 2007 don't do the recording justice. It is heavily influenced by LZ - especially Duke's Travels (where the climax heavily emulates The Song Remains The Same). Zepp rules.

  • Jones plays a nice bass line at .23, maybe to get bonham's attention..?? It's a pity Page didn't put as much work into his live playing as does thousands of cover bands have for over 30 years...to listen to page stumble over his own playing is fucked..!!

  • @bro8664 Drugs. Heroin. Great writing and producing though - don't you think? On the studio stuff.

  • @WayneYonke Yeah! I have to agree, prolific writer and player and producer....he must've had a real interest in the studio/production...I was sort of comparing him to Blackmore on stage..Ritchie seem to take a bit of pride in his "Live" performance...not wacked out of his head I guess.

  • @commentnotapproved1 Agreed. If you get a chance to read When Giants Walked The Earth, or get the audio book - it's quite a compelling biography of the band. Although, admittedly, I did skip through the chapter(s) on the occult.

  • @WayneYonke As a matter of fact I did read that book...John Paul Jones seemed to be the only one that wasn't a complete fuckin' asshole..! Good music and musicians but do rockstars have to be deadshits.?Their mafia style attitude towards other people in the industry made me dislike them just that little bit more.!

  • @commentnotapproved1 lol. True.

I think they pioneered the idea of being the worst kind of deadshits.

On a side note: I don't like Mariah Carey. But I used to really F'n dislike Mariah Carey. 'Til my wife made the point to me that she was just some 17 year old girl plucked out of obscurity, married the CEO of Sony, and turned into a star. Of course MC is crazy - she knows no other way to be. Her experience of life to this point has been people codling her.

    LZ had no social constructs.

  • @WayneYonke Yes, there's probably an element of truth in what you say..!

  • @WayneYonke I always found the occult rumors about Zeppelin to be the only really dull and pointless part of thier legacy . I always left that discussion to the idiots who play Stairway to heaven backward or who tried to decipher some hidden meaning from Jimmy page's dragon trousers .

  • @Cincinnatus1869 funny!

  • @WayneYonke Yes, I tend to agree with the comment below..!!

  • @bro8664 Dude, you wrote, "to listen to page stumble over his own playing is fucked..!!"...but I say, "Actually, it's just a collector's item. Jimmy Page is my favorite by far!

  • @blackaurora44 Yea.! I wouldn't pay $150 and up to watch some stoned fucker play guitar....but if that's what turns Jimmy on,so be it.!

  • @bro8664 Well, you wrote $150 ....some stoned fucker...play guitar...etc....sad....I've never seen Jimmy Page perfoming so bad that I'd comment on it....wait a minute....1985's Live Aid....okay, yes....but after that, pure magic!....now let's review, he's not "some stoned fucker"...he's Jimmy fuckin Page!!...stoned or not....and I saw him with Led-Zeppelin in 1978 at the infamous Tampa Stadium riot for just $10 dollars....and...got my money back. :)

  • @blackaurora44 Yea, Oh, yea..Live Aid..I forgot about that.! I think that's when glue sniffing was at it's peak..You call "stumbling over the guitar" a collector's item.....you gonna need a fuckin big cupboard!!

  • 4:15 Orgasmic.

  • a guy sellin' t-shirt there

  • I have the entire bootleg. No Quarter is absolutely amazing in this concert. Nice post! Led Zeppelin forever!

  • The guitar gods of the 70,s: Beck, Page, Clapton, Hendrix, Santana, and Blackmore.

  • @shrubhater hendrix wasnt even alive in the 70s

  • @RobDZeppelin LOL...yeah, actually, he died in 1970, which makes him a guitarist of the 70s. that's what i meant...lol...sorry about the confusion :-)

  • @shrubhater don't forget iommi

  • damn almost shit my pants when I heard the intro to this song, Bonzo and Jimmy!!!

  • this is The flying circus bootleg. great quality

  • Puro encanto, pura magia! Puro talento! Aguante Zeppelin ctm!! POR SIEMPRE

  • ZEPPELIN IS KICKIN ASS HERE.

  • why can't there be bands like this while I'm alive, dang

  • Oh yeah Great memories The best damn band ever!!

  • THE GREATEST ROCK VOCALIST OF HIS TIME THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER THE BEST DRUMMER WHO WALKED THE PLANET AND A MIGHTY FINE BASS PLAYER= LED ZEPPELIN GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER PERIOD..

  • @mark1simon If I might say, John Paul Jones was just as great as the rest. IMO, he's sort of the unsung hero of zeppelin. Not only a great bassist but he also played and came up with a lot of zeppelin's synth stuff including stairway.

  • @mark1simon PURE MAGIC!!!!!

  • 6 dislikes??? Get fucked!

  • My Favvvvvvvvvvv

  • so much better than the original from houses of the holy.

  • Fuck the Beatles? what a mindless thing to say...

  • You have to be a true dumb fuck to say "fuck the beatles" Ones love for Led Zeppelin shouldn't allow that misguided silliness to bubble to the surface. Save your hate for people and things that deserve it..not The Beatles.

  • @bughead3 Well said, Bughead3. If you don't like the Beatles or any other band, there's no need to speak so rudely. No one was even talking about them here.

  • @bughead3

    Viva el rock

  • beatles take a back seat to zeppelin. Plant owns Mcartny or whatever his name is.

  • where can i get this font!

  • GREAT SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree re The Stones. I am at a loss as to what all the fuss is about. Mick Jagger has one of the worst rock voices ever. Charlie is a hopeless drummer. The most over rated band in the history of rock.

  • @glebe3047 You're a clueless Ernie.

  • @BillyMacQ Clueless ah. Well fool this week I asked 25 people at work who they prefered Zep or Stones. Only 2 said The Stones. Some totally agreed with me with regards to the stones being completely overrated

  • What is the font for this?

    Btw: great song :)

  • i had a dream

  • Jeez, listen to this, this is why they were considered the best rock and roll band on the planet for years

  • @bbmusic1 THEY ARE THE BEST BAND ON THE PLANET FOR EVER

  • Holy crap! EPIC BASS at the beginning!

  • Wow that was great. I cant believe that Plant was sick that night, sounds great. Wish I could have seen them live.

  • The drum beat from this and the escalation leading into the San Francisco part of Dazed and Confused from 1973 added to Achilles Last Stand. The Drumming was already there. Jimmy, Jonzy, and Percy just had to add to it, fine tune it, and boom. One of the best rock anthems in history came out.

  • Man, the sound sucks. Too bad, because they are on fire

  • That Achilis beat that guy spoke of is on the album too, I think he leaves out the ah on his kick on the studio version basically playing the Achilis beat, He also leaves out the hi hat lift on every other "2" for the song remains the same. The Immagrent song is also similar but slower. Good ear if your not a drummer!! shit even if you are a drummer, its cool to pick out stuff like that, The beat you speak of is during the secong guitar solo I believe. I actually play it in a tribute/cover band.

  • Page was soloing over while Bonham (listen carful) is playing the beat for Achilis Last Stand! and JPJ is OWNING HIS BASS!

  • his "g" string, on the 12 stringer, is out of tune.

    can you hear it?

  • yes for sure :D

  • Thats called Paige tuning

  • Incredible, The Best Band Ever!

  • JPJ and Bonzo are incredible. I swear they read each others voice. How did they know to go thoes extra bars Page was soloing over while Bonham (listen carful) is playing the beat for Achilis Last Stand! and JPJ is OWNING HIS BASS!

  • listen to that that is fucking amazing drums guitar beast!!!!XD

  • If what you say was true god would just be a superior being from outer space. Doesn't me we have to go in for all that religious shit and bigotry and praying. Bit like the innocent until proven guilty arguement. You'll never prove to me there is a god so it stands to reason there isn't one.

  • I have this show - Feb 12 1975 (Lincoln's b-day) - on a 3-CD pkg. The 1st CD is blazing - Sick Again, Over the hills & far away, In My Time of Dying, Song Remains..., Rain Song, & Kashmir. This is before Physical Graffiti had been released so the audience had never heard some of it. For that part of the show, they were on fire - VERY tight. The other 2 CD's, not so much. Love this version of TSRTS even though Plant is a bit off.

  • @DeathToStupidity why dont u upload it heree or megaupload, rapishare somthing like that!

  • I've never heard JPJ's bass so wild before - wow, what a guy

  • 調子のいいときのジミーペイジは神ががてるね。

  • Only two people cn play guitar..God & Jimmy Page!!!

  • Agreed!!

  • who are you to say that there is no god, we are probobly are just god's sneeze( and i dont mean out planet, i mean entire universe)

  • DAMN STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @amozartii God & Jimmy Page is the same guy!

  • @nevynnuggie I agree man!!

  • @amozartii

god comes in a distant 2nd!!!

  • @amozartii edit: only two people can play guitar- god(gilmour) and jimmy page.

  • @sexandthesmileys Sorry but Gilmour isn't god.

  • @Berserkedy my mistake. god is gilmour.

  • @amozartii Jimmy Page IS god .

  • @amozartii Yeah I call Hendrix by his shorter name sometimes too

  • @amozartii - Don't forget Eddie Van Halen, Blackmore, Andres Segovia, Steve Vai, Hendrix, Rhodes, Charo (yes, hoochi cuchi), Angus Young, Santana, Satriani, B.B. King and countless others...

  • @amozartii I can do it too!

  • bonzo is da bestest!

  • @amozartii And Chuck Norris who taught God to play!

  • @amozartii I thought Jimmy Page was God?

  • @djbowen87 no Led Zeppelin were gods

  • @amozartii by god i hope u mean Jimi Hendrix ;)

  • @amozartii - I believe God is a DISTANT second. ;-)

  • @amozartii LOL straight the fuck up, you are correct sir.

  • keep it down, buddy

  • to : resistance6 -- relax.- users of youtube want to hear music and don't mind stills rather than moving video. of course a still is a video as opposed to an audio. in addition, your foul language is probably not the way to influence anyone.

while you may view yourself as a video purists, your language makes seem simply a boor.

  • Its called a slide show.Just shut the fuck up its freaking Zeppelin.Hearing them is great enough. You don't have to be such a pussy about it

  • The song does not remain the same! it changes frequently! >:D

  • lol... seriously!

  • EvaI999:

that is the beauty of Led Zeppelin! They are extraordinary musicians!!

Yes and I love UFO as well...

  • lol, theres a guy sellin T shirts there

  • One of the best Led Zeppelin songs ever, its just... wow thats all i can say, after listening to it countless times all i can say to it still is wow! They were just so great!

    R.I.P John Bonham!

  • love this song! love the zep! dont understand people who thinjk otherwise.

  • I like the Who a lot too. Rythm sections are both awsome, maybe the edge to the who. I love Page though, 'speciall from 69-73, he's the best. Im not big on singers so.... Like the Mahavishnu Orchestra a lot.

  • Hehehe...good comment and Daltrey has indeed a great stage presence...but my vote goes to the immortal Bon Scott.

    AC-DC, Sunday, Sept. 16, 1979 - El Paso, TX.

I fought hard for my front row spot. I was invincible..it was my 17th b-day wknd. lol.

My best hard rock concert ever.

Another great pair of 70's pipes: Paul Rodgers and Phil Mogg.

All in all, we can certainly claim to have lived the best era of rock music and use of vinyl.

    \m/

  • I can't, I can only wish I could have been there. It saddens me.

  • Phil Mogg is a very underrated singer, I'm glad you menntioned him. UFO is a great band...

  • Steve Marriott was the epitome of a frontman to me.

  • I prefer the live versions from 1977

  • 3:50 mark . brilliant rhythm section

  • CLASSIC SOUND! the best ever ya reackond!~

  • There is Zep and there are those who fall short. The Greatest band ever.

  • Correctamundo

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh

  • jimmy page and steve howe , my 2 idols

  • Steve Howe!!!...........Now there is a guitarist. Probably the best one to surface from the seventies.

  • Jimmy Page's dancing! YES!

  • 2:01 genius i love this part of the song

  • I saw these guys in 1970 in kitchener ontario, we didn't know who they were, they blew everyone away, we were all stoned on some primo hash of course which added another layer to the wall of sound coming toward us, we sure knew who zeplin was after that those really were the days my friend - FAR OUT MAN

  • nice to see people being respectful on here without the usual so and so is best guitarist, best singer, we all have our faves and that's OK

  • my friend is a huge page fan. he can play stairway just as perfect as any of u probably ca on a normal les paul.

  • Oh I've got this bootleg... is amazing

  • i friken love is accent when he talks also when sings i would die to have his voice

  • Top version! 5*****

  • I Just Got My Jimmy Page Double Neck Yesterday. It Is A Bit Difficult At First But Works Just Fine :). The Amount Of Material The Pick Ups Actually Pick Up Is Amazing! And The Tone Is Unlike Any I Have Ever Heard. It Is A True Piece Of Art. I Also Have The Page Les Paul. AMAZING Tone :). He Really Knew How To Work His Equipment!

  • "theres a guy selling t shirts, about the song remains the same" ahahha nice

  • i really want a double neck!!!! 12 strings and 6 like page!!!! zeppelin my fav!!!!!

  • Before getting your 12 string try to learn all your chords on a 6 string try to learn triads suspended chords chords that are aumented and way more of chord material.

  • very complicated way of saying learn how to play an f-note lol

  • wow but im saying get a 12 string to play way more things than just this song or stairway to heaven

  • i know i was just kiddin bro

  • How charming! Quite pleasant and soothing. Very good musicians. I shall be looking for more in this new year.

  • Yeah Bonzo is one of the best. I like very much Ginger Baker too, but Bonzo is somewhere anywhere. no comment.

  • pure energy

  • one word BONZO

  • Whenever i look at a 12 string is still looks like theres the same amount of strings as a 6 string

  • because the strings are so close together in pairs, so its almost like hitting one string but there are 2 very close together

  • the best thing ever to come out of england fuck the beatles long live zeppelin

  • yeah man you right...zeps are still underrated...beatles and stones got press with them.Zeps were underrated and criticized by the press...THE FUCKIN'BEST BAND EVER!LONG LIVE LED ZEPPELIN!GODS OF ROCK LED ZEPPELIN!UNBEATABLE!

  • @rikyhendrixx UNBEATABLE!

  • Word. I feel like going to that kids house and punching him continually in the neck.

  • @dannyaudio idk about fuck the beatles, but led zeppelin are legends

  • @dannyaudio fuck yeah FUCK The Beatles!!!! Zepp rule . . .. The Stone roses had a bigger influence on British Music than that set of cheeky scouse cunts! how can you claim to be THE greatest band of all time when you've got Ringo "not even the best drummer in The Beatles" Starr as your drummer?

  • The solo of this is on the 12 string, same as any other live I've heard and seen(even live in '95).Jimmy doesn't bend strings in a bluesy style like on the studio cut.

  • he doesn't play the solo on the 12-stringed part of the guitar !

    don't tell bullshit anyway...

  • wtf are you talkin'about?just watch madison square garden one or earls court version on related videos and look wher does he play the solo...and don't tell bullshit anyway

  • @rikyhendrixx He plays nearly all the parts with th 12stgs, you can hear it, it doesn't sound like a 6 strings solo, lot of arpeggiattoes which sound quite good with 12 stgs, but he can't make bendings as with 6 stgs!

  • yes he does, watch every live version

  • How d'ya get it so loud???? sweet!

  • JIMMY PAGE! KING OF THE 12 STRING!

  • right dude,it's not easy playing solos in the 12 strings...i tried it...gods of rock led zeppelin

  • this is way too good really outstanding

  • HOLY CRAP BONZO SPARE THE DRUMS xD! Gotta love his druming combined with the rest of then band! Led Zeppelin are the masters of rock gods even. I just pary they come to tour in America, make a lot of people (including me) very happy! (lyrics from Going To California) Made up my mind to make a new start,

Going to california with an aching in my heart. dont ache come to california :]

  • Search for TSRTS from 6.21.77 - some of Bonzo's most fantastic drumming on the intro.

  • yes, bonzo on fire there, but Jimmy's playing is better on the early days..gods of rock led zeppelin, everytime and everywhere!

  • we're led zeppelin's ocean!

  • Damn I wish there was video to this!! Best damn Zeppelin song ever recorded in my opinion!! John Paul Jones & Bonham laying it down while Page RIPS over it!! HELL YEAH!!

  • gods of rock led zeppelin...

  • HELL YEAH YOU GOT THAT RIGHT MAN!! Nobody looked cooler playing a Les Paul either than Jimmy!! Sorry Slash...NOBODY!!

    Peace

  • yeah man, jimmy page is the greatest rock star ever because he invented hard rock, and because of his playing...you know scarface motto:"the world is yours",well in the seventies the world was zep's...(sorry if i made english mistakes)

  • i agree with everything except for his invention of hard rock---i'd say that was pete townshend

  • AMEN BROTHER, AMEN!!!

  • well, nobody ufficially invented hard rock, but groups like cream, yardbirds, kinks and who were its first players...jimmy page was one of the most creative guitar players and musicians in the sixties-english era,so I said that ;)

  • I think you should liste
