My little brother and his friends make stuff better than his james brown stuff for fun. This guy is one of the most overrated.. performers.. of all time. @Adeptmind Do you like sublime? Sublime also sampled from previous artist in the same way that the mpc samples artist to recreate music. Its better then any of the mainstream music that is made today in my opinion.

Now tap around with different simple patterns, variated... simple. Congratulations. Had you an MPC in front of you and spent an hour chopping up SOMEONE ELSES music and assigning them to buttons.. you will be touted by yourself and others as a musical genius (LOL). Despite not being able to screw up cuz of auto quantize and a song PRE WRITTEN LOL

Oh and sublime, not really my style, but they used sampled BEATS only, which 100's of bands have been doing for years because sometimes drummers are flaky. Sublime wrote and played all their songs on actual instruments. Bass, guitar, microphone, drums and a dj (the dj is where the samples came from). Could you imagine if brad pre programmed a bunch of solo licks in buttons that someone else wrote and tried to pass it off as if he were doing something. Bloody embarrassing if you ask me
