@LareBearProductions yeah, there are so many spells and nevermore can only name one. If it said "choose a color, spells of that color can't be cast" then it would be banned
@jrocsal I suppose you're right. Nevermore could easily be countered with Naturalize (which is also in Innistrad), unless the spell that's named is Naturalize. I don't know what other spells you'd need Nevermore for, but there's a lot in Standard.
