It would be infinitely better if we (as a civilization) simply OUTLAWED the production of a single new gas-powered car, like we should have done 30+ years ago, since we KNEW oil will end in 50 years. Global peak oil passed in 2005.
As always, it's only a tiny minority who do the hard work fighting for these changes: e.g. the Green party.

This is a great commercial! It's amazing that they didn't even mention the name of the artist who recorded "Let Your Love Flow" for the commercial. It was Petra Haden. For me, as amazing as the visuals are, it's the music that makes it.

You apparently have never driven one. It is an experience. I will never go back to the type of auto that you probably own. I have 2 x 2006 Priuses. It does shut the gas engine off when it doesn't need it. I get 50 mpg in both. It is a quality vehicle equal to the Lexus RS300 that I got rid of. Getting to Earth friendly is not a black and white subject. The Prius is a big step toward it. Honda and Toyota are working hard to get there. No one else is.

This is one of the more incredibly creative commercials, but I don't know if you have noticed, but in one of the commercials, one of the white backed people, as the car is driving forward, they kind of jump up a split second ahead of time and then they crouch back down really quick, as their timing was off about 1/10th of a second. With as much as they did for this commercial, I was surprised to see that flaw remain in and they just didn't go back and do another take..

As Toyota is trying to sell this idea for status seeking people who want to show how hip, "green", and environmentally aware they are. If you really care about the environment, take the bus or ride a bike.

The first time i saw this commercial i was stoned out of my mind. I mean i took like 10 bong hits and then immediately watched this. IT BLEW MY MIND! These people are geniuses, and the synergy between people and CGI is genius as well.

it is refreshing to see some more creative, original ideas but I wish it could be for something other than a product. It is true they do borrow some from Wizard of Oz probably and Busby Berkley too but it is nice to see some creative expansion nonetheless.
Good advertising gets your attention and makes you feel good about the product. This is one of the only commercials we don't mute when it comes on the TV. Brilliant work which will hopefully win awards.
I really like this commercial, but whenever I see Toyota commercials I notice that they don't always use the highest trim levels on the featured vehicle. Why is that? I think it's important to show a car at it's best, especially if the car is making its debut to the average American.

Every part of the battery, from the precious metals to the plastic, plates, steel case and the wiring, are recycled or processed for disposal.
To ensure that batteries come back to Toyota, each battery has a phone number on it to call for recycling information.

As Toyota is trying to sell this idea for status seeking people who want to show how hip, "green", and environmentally aware they are. If you really care about the environment, take the bus or ride a bike.

The first time i saw this commercial i was stoned out of my mind. I mean i took like 10 bong hits and then immediately watched this. IT BLEW MY MIND! These people are geniuses, and the synergy between people and CGI is genius as well.

i absoultely LOVE this commerical.. everytime i here it come on tv, even if i am in another room, i will run to the tv just to watch it... LOL... it's so adoreable and shows the innocense of life.. everything would be awesome in harmony..

Pure genius! Amazing concept. Awesome choreography & costumes. More than an ad...a new art form. I could watch for hours and want to live in the world you created. Appreciate the video since it answered all of my questions. Thank you and Bravo!

it is refreshing to see some more creative, original ideas but I wish it could be for something other than a product. It is true they do borrow some from Wizard of Oz probably and Busby Berkley too but it is nice to see some creative expansion nonetheless.

Good advertising gets your attention and makes you feel good about the product. This is one of the only commercials we don't mute when it comes on the TV. Brilliant work which will hopefully win awards.

I really like this commercial, but whenever I see Toyota commercials I notice that they don't always use the highest trim levels on the featured vehicle. Why is that? I think it's important to show a car at it's best, especially if the car is making its debut to the average American.
... I'm watching this commercial on TV right now haha.

i realized that they were people the first time i saw it... I think because there's so many different parts in the song that it would be good for my vocal music class to do.... It would be fun to sing the song.
