My Grandma (Modesta Villarreal) & my Grandpa (Pete Villarreal) were owners of great Tejano Bands here in Victoria, Tx but we traveled all over Texas. Many great musicians that played with the popular Tejano bands came from our band. We even were an opening band for Selena! Honestly! Soome of the band names were "Grupo Final" "Grupo Suave" from what I remember. But yep not many people know this!

El Grup Mazz represents Tejano music.. a Tex_ Mex Blend. To call it Mexican is ???  Per se, Intocable ( the Tex- Mex band also considered a sub category of Norteno ) is in a different genre than Los Tigres Del Norte ( Mexican- band) Correct? the question is what is Norteno? Northern mexico or Northern as in USA...... comments
