Mrs. Monty and I just saw the Black Keys at a show in Nashville last week. We're both 58 and serious life-long live music fans. We both agree: it was an instant top 10 of all time, maybe even top 5. They're the band that Led Zeppelin wishes they had been. They just hit so damn hard. "She's Long Gone" was their final song. For all my old fart friends who say "There's no good music anymore!!".... you're not looking very hard. Thanks Dan and Patrick; it was a blast!

In their interviews they said this is their favorite song to perform, so of course I had to look it up & find the best LIVE performance, thanks for such an awesome quality video & audio upload! So many of the live shows on here are distorted audio or badly recorded, so I always appreciate someone who does an excellent job, that's YOU, so thanks!

@504pappy you should listen to their album BlacRoc. Fusion of their blues and R&B style with some pretty koo rappers throwing some rhymes over it.

@GranDrJ This sounds interesting, think I'll go check that out too! They were just talking about how UNCOOL they are, that they could never do any rapping themselves (in an interview video on youtube, Austin City Limits one I think?), so I definitely want to see what kind of fusion that would be. Love their electric blues.
