Great job, as even approximating the great Pete Johnson's style is a serious endeavor and challenge!
Pete and Albert were so into it, you can see they must've spent hours, days, weeks, and years to reach the level of playing they accomplished: i.e. to play so freely and confidently. Boogie players make up a lick or two or their own along the way. Johnson & Ammons played long enough to establish styles and characteristic sounds in their playing.
I played it to the original composition and I did not want to make an own interpretation, as this was my first boogie at all, at that time. so, I was happy just to be able to play it. In general: classic music - as boogie is nowadays - does not need new interpretation imho. it is good enough in its own ;-). syncopated keys, as you played, the character changes. the original boogie and ragtime never was allowed to have swing, although: good boogie gives us a swing feeling.
The truist rendition I have ever witnessed. All my life I wanted to know the mysteries of Pete Johnson's playing and you have revealed them to me...THANK YOU
Hi, danke für Ihren Besuch. Klar ist ein E-Piano nur eine Krücke. Nehme ich auch nur zum Üben. Sie sehen an meinen andren Videos meinen Flügel. Grüße, Hans
Ha! Of all the Boogie pieces to hear first from you... For three years now I have been creating my Wildest Dream to streak across the football superbowl field for entertainment playing an arrangement like this in the Raggin' Piano Boogie truck! Thanks for connecting with me Hans, to... friendship, Yea!
Hi Jacques, many thanks for your comment. I could not yet arrive the original speed of 176 between 184. The video ist about 160 (I guess). I am still working hard on it. In the meantime I play it without the lead sheet. See the additional video. I've been visiting your vids. Very nice performance - I like the atmosphere when you are on stage. Where are you on stage?

Keine Beschwerde, im Gegenteil. Aber kaufen Sie sich bitte ein akustisches Klavier, das ist 'the real McCoy'!
