  • He is a master at what he does

  • good moves, however not much kime on it.

  • Different version.. interesting

  • I do a kata called tomari bassai and it"s very similar to this one.

  • I would point out that there are at least five differnet styles/schools of shorin ryu taught in Okinawa. This version of Passai was the version taught by Toma Sensei.

  • which toma sensei?

  • this is not shorin ryu!!!!

  • This looks like a combination of our Paisai Sho and Paisai Dai. (Shorin ryu Matsamura Seito)

  • Ah yes! This is my 2nd fav. kata (right after seisan) I had to learn it at yellow to get blue RIGHT BEFORE SENSEI BUMPED IT UP TO BROWN REQUIREMENT! ^GRRRR!* Oh well, at least I was ahead of the curb!

  • I've done seidokan karate and this kata is exactly identical to the passai san kata we do.

  • This kata is similar to Shorinji Ryu Renshikan's Bassai

  • You kinda rushed through the beginning and end. Makes it look as if you are vervous. That's not how I usually see Passai done, but it's okay. If you want to see a true Passai, you need to see my Shihan (Master Instructor) do it.

  • this guy knows what he's doing, he doesn't need you help

  • Strange version of Bassai Dai. Seems okay, but I think the way you 'normally' see it is stronger.
