  • if you put the camera above the rifle you get a much better view of the trace. just a suggestion, i know its hard to get video in the first place. good shooting, keep it up! :)

  • i love this kind of far target shooting video!

here in germany its not possible to shoot so far, exept on a rifle range but the most rifle ranges end at 300m :-(

  • Could you measure my penis for me. It could stand some exagerating also, mate.

  • that looks like 300-400yds? well maybe im wrong, but nice shot :)

  • so is this 600 or 800?

  • Great shot!

I recently got drawn into the world of rifles and are looking to get a Tikka Lite 30-06. Plan to go with my buddies to hunt will boar and white tail deer. But the more research I do the more I find that the Tikka is not as suppported by the aftermarket community. Not that the rifle needs upgrades. But being the type, I do like to modify my gear as time goes by, its cheaper overtime doesn't hurt as much. Can you recommend aftermarket products, dealers etc? Not just scopes.

  • @SFSraptor

search for hinterland shooting supplies in australia and check out pse composites for stocks im modifying my tikka t3 varmint/ .30-06

  • You need to get a range finder and show the distance, because that only looks like 500 yards

  • @ rckhopper I personally love the 1920 weaver 10x mag scope

  • Try 1800 yards with cheap ammo at frikken cans and then I will be impressed!

  • its good

  • lol if this is 800 yards im jack the ripper!!

  • in QLD i droped a deer

  • 222 are underated by far. i own several and i go pigging n roo shooting and i can drop a pig dead on the spot easily 300 - 400+ yards. cheap to run cheap to buy n just as good as a 223 & 243. i kno as i have one of each and have tested them all in comparison they all do the same amout of damage

  • @joshiiboii27 i TOTALY agree with you, .222's are just a great all round calibre

  • Hey I was just curious, If you can shoot 800 with what looks like with ease, Why not shoot 1000 yards?

  • what ammo are running?

  • @veryeclectic federal originaly but reloaded them with ballistic tips

  • If you google Tikka M55 in images you will find a photo of my rifle. Its on a Harris bi pod and had a Nikko Stirling 6x24x42 scope, but I've since replaced it with the Leupold.

  • I found that Leupold are optically superb for the money, and have a lifetime warranty.

There are higher specification scopes out there such as Night Force, US Optics, Schmit & Bender, Swarvoski, Khales. but they are serious money.

I've used or looked through most glass over the years and the Leupold are great value in my opinion.

  • Scope choice depends on your application,

I currently have a Leupold 6.5x20x50 VX III LR on the Tikka for F class shooting however if I were to use it for deer I'd swap it for my Deben Sniper fixed ten or my Leupold 3x9x50 VXII

Simmons scopes are good choices too, I go for optical clarity 30mil tubes and the largest objective end mounted as close to the barrel as possible.

  • Nice shot I have a M55 in 308, nice rifle.

  • @rckhopper what kind of scope do you use? any recomendations?

  • Nice shot

  • if youre sellin a gun that you dont want anymore message me asap!

  • Did Chuck Norris throw that?

  • good shooting...are those reloads? If so what load are you using? I have 2 remington 788s that I need to load for.

  • 1) Hold your breath.

    2) Copy all of these steps.

    3) Go to two other video.

    4) Paste it in the comments.

    5) punch ur self in your face for being stupid like this

If you can do all of this without breathing you're a god

  • @HDProducTz lol i just did it

  • nice shot

  • @TheAnoosh18 thanks mate

  • @TheAnoosh18 more like nice camra

  • Nice shot, but why did you have to spill paint all over the place? As if your 'hobby' isn't polusive enough, you have to spice it up with a can of acrylic? Listen to people like nutnfancy. The tin is fine but fill it with water....

  • @martinholde yea mate it was water.. it was an empty tin filled with the dams water, im not an idiot.

  • @iainmcgregor8 Good stuff then... I guess the splash made it look like white paint... I've seen people use paint before and it's just terrible...

  • @martinholde yea its just stupid and wastefull, thanx

  • @martinholde oh for fucks sake shut the hell up with your tree hugging shit! First off that paint won't do shit to the environment. Secondly nutnfancy is a complete fucking tacti-cool looser. He's an overweight adolescent trapped in a man's body that thinks he knows everything about guns. He's blowing smoke out his ass.

  • @DennisH8706 You're the one to talk, with all your name-calling. Nutnfancy as a reason and ideas behind his videos. Tell me how YOU are better... And "secondly: paint will indeed do "shit" to the environment. Besides, if you cared to look further in this comment section, we've already agreed that it was water in the bucket. Go read a book or something... perhaps you'll get a clue...

  • Sooo......whos turn is it to go run and put the bucket back up :)

  • @stunawsom I lol'ed

  • Greetings from Finland! Very nice shot!! I also have a Tikka rifle in 222. You have the old M55, and I think i´ts way better than my M590. Don´t ever sell that gun! :)

  • @pottakuula haha thanx, and dont worry im not gonna get rid of it :) tikka's are great rifles!

  • @pottakuula

where in Finland did you buy your gun?

  • @XDLOL211 just got it from our local gun store in australia

  • @XDLOL211

From a local shop about 15 years ago.

  • Great shooting, thumbs up!!

  • very nice shot :)

Sorry boss with the explanation to dirtyasstronaut :P ... bringing in the fps :P

  • by my calculations its a shade and a half under 800 yards ;]. from 690-735yards. let me know if im right.

  • @DirtyAsstronaut i actualy used my motor bikes odometre to measure it a bit over 800 to account for the hill. if you calculate the time it takes for the bullet to hit the target compared to the 3200 fps speed, u will see its no less than 800 yards

  • he's going to give 1 mile a go next cant wait for that video

  • what calibre is that round?

  • @sharki9876 .222

  • Nice shot i gave it 5 and i wish i had the chance of getting a rifle

  • Excellent shot and video mate! 5*

  • very good

  • holy shit , sniper business...

  • that is proper shooting...

    regards

    sercout
