  • I won't be publishing many videos here as YouTube makes them all look like mush...you'll find over 150 Python tutorials at ShowMeDo by over 20 authors, with almost 500 tutorials in total (including many open source languages and programs). We keep them crystal-clear and in a larger size.

Soon we intend to build an entire series aimed at new Python programmers.

    Cheers,

    Ian.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i love the whistles

  • where do you get that screen capture with that colored mouse? i cant find it ANYWHERE!!!

  • I used CamStudio, you can configure a highlighted mouse. It is open-source and it works really well. You'll find several videos on making screencasts at our ShowMeDo which demonstrate CamStudio...

  • is your mouth made of whistles?

  • Fair comment - I used a cheap mic which records all the plosives as whistles. For my newer ShowMeDo videos I have just invested in studio-grade recording equipment so hopefully this 'feature' of my past recordings will go away.

    Cheers for the feedback,

    Ian.

  • Oh ok...

  • Man this is killing me. 5 minute programming in 2:44...

  • Haha, me too.

  • Awesome introduction. I just found and started using Python yesterday, and it's quite fun so far.

  • Nice introduce. Good job.

  • thanks man...i love python...

  • Very nice work your doing to promote Python.

I have no clue on what is Python except that it is a powerful programming language often associated with hacking systems.

I am into PHP wich largely answers my needs in terms of dynamic website programming. I wonder what Python can offer more in this matter.

    I'll check your website.

  • Nice Tutorial man

    thanks for the help

keep up the good work : )

  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

    Ludde

  • Oops - I meant see my ShowMeDo *website* (ShowMeDo DOT com).

  • martincs14 - thanks for your comment. Python is a programming language, it makes it *very* easy to write software for many tasks (web applications, science, databases, GUIs etc). See my ShowMeDo for *many* more free tutorial videos.

    Cheers, Ian.

  • Thanks. Martincs its a program writing software.
