I am a latino voting for McCain and Palin. She is a real woman. He is a great Veteran, I think its great to find someone that supports the more conservative points in life. I agree with you on several things, but you fail to mention some things in regards to illegal immigration. True, Reagan supported amnesty, but the difference is, he called it what it was, AMNESTY. Clearly that did nothing in the way of solving the issue of illegal immigration. So this "solution" you support has been proven not to work.

Temporary problem to a permanent problem as long as nothing is being done about it. Reagan did give an amnesty, and because of that, illegals today are pushing for yet ANOTHER amnesty. This can turn into a recurring cycle unless something is done about this.

There are a number of things that I disagree with McCain on, but the biggest issue, the war on terror, its there where he has it right on. You will never get a perfect canidate but he is by far better than the Dem offerings. What Im really interested in is his VP choice. McCain is, what, 72? There are good odds that his VP will become president before the term is over. A very important choice. Id like to see him pick JC Watts. Guy would shake up the party as well as the nation.
