I have just brought this product, however how do i connect it to my mac book pro, as there are only firewire cables and no usb? I know this may sound obvious to some people, but please help me out

@moseleyb you need to use firewire, hence proFIRE. you will need a firewire 400 -> 800 cable. good luck

can this playback VST's at all? i had a Creative sb elite pro and worked great for VSTs over 10 tracks. not sure if this can do that?

those krk VXT series kick ass. The vxt6 is the way to go. works great with profire as well.
