  • better than the original

  • @RobertTheMadOne Ha, well that's an awfully kind thing to say though I don't know if I'd agree...haha

  • WoooW nice work sounds great !

  • Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

  • i know the guy with the blue guitar in real life, his name is Dan

  • great love this song. im a drummer amd love your style. can't wieght till your next consurt

  • wow!!! LOVE THIS!!

  • nice I love reggae rythm.

  • Nice one Ivanrest, this looks fun to play, I like playin reggae grooves. Bill, sounds like you panned the drums from the audience perspective, as I do. floor tom audio is comin from left

  • hmmm, well, I panned it the way I usually do...the left tom (high tom) is actually quite deep so maybe it sounds like the floor tom. But in this case drummer perspective and audience perspective are identical! So that kind of worked out...but on the other videos I still panned drummer perspective even though you're looking at the stage from the front...I know...confusing.

  • I see, yeah that could be it. yes, i know what you mean, the audience there were behind you, but in general terms, we talk about the audience in front of the speakers. I mix to the audience perspective, as the drums would be heard standing in front of the kit. Either way is correct.

  • Yeah, but for a live show the audience perspective makes much more sense. Since the visual aspect is a given. I just e-mailed you...it's a long one.

  • It rained and everyone had to come under the cover. We could turn everyone around but me....too many cables and too much work. Our other songs posted on here show us playing outward.

  • Are you using your Pearl Piccolo Brass?

  • Actually I'm using my Fortune Custom 13" Maple snare here. I have it cranked pretty tight, though...so it sounds close...

  • Awesome! Love this song - great job guys!

  • Thanks, Dan!

  • nice job guys

  • good job guys :)!! nice song !!

    awesome style xD

  • thank you! glad you liked it!

  • Hey Ivanrest.

great to see another video of yours.

great job 5 stars, a shame it had to rain during the show but its good that you kept on playing.

    well done,

    Keith

    P.S. great song choice

  • and for anyone who is wondering...I did not purposefully make the video exactly this long...

  • haha I just noticed the time! Good song though. Great Job

  • ha, thanks John!

  • I dig the environment :)

  • haha, this reggae-style song is great, perfect to make happy "atmosphere", I see some people moving in the rhythm :) Take care!

  • Thanks, Jerry! It is nice to do a song without distortion every now and then. You are exactly right though...it is a happy song. I couldn't see if people were enjoying it at the time since I had my back to the audience! haha.

  • Sweet, reminds me of those Intimate & Interactive specials or those Unplugged shows. Looks like you guys had lots of fun that night, I'm guessing this was shot towards the end of the night.

    Dig the socks.

  • Ha, thanks Ken. Yeah. It felt like an Unplugged session. I had to pull out the hot rods (and socks...). It was toward the end of the night when the rain had sufficiently moved us all under the cover. We turned around the speakers and kept playing!

  • i never really liked this song, but I gotta say you did a great cover of it! 5/5!

  • w00t

  • Nice :D

  • that was sweet!

I guess i'm the first one to wathc this cool
