You dont think about your last play when your a caption on the 4th game of the last play of the game. I sure as hell didnt i made the tackle but my acl went in half. not being able to play in the last game was really bad, but the worst part was the last time i walked in the locker room with my equipment on I sat their and looked at my locker for an hour i just put my head down an didnt want to take my shoulder pads off knowing it would be my last as a high school football player
@ninjasareomazin I agree, girls can do whatever boys do and boys can do whatever girls do if they work hard at it. It's hard and it has its downside, but its open for anyone, so im happy for any boy or girl to experience the feeling we all get those fridays
i am girl and no matter what i tell my self everyday i will play this game my hero is colt mccoy he is amazing and i tried out for my middle school football team as cornerback not quarterback i know the differnce and even though when steped on tht feild those boys laughed at me i made the varisty team and took the place of there star corner but no matter what i wasent going to give up and i made those boys eat there words so dont u ever think tht boys r better then girls we both r equal

I play Punter for a pretty big team and even though I only Punt and even though I only get on the field a couple times a game I still love the game, playing Punter and the camaraderie with my team mates. I might go to some decent D1A or D1AA schools but i'll never forget HS football as my favorite sport.

Some advice to all the young people who decide to play this fabulous sport. Play every down like it's your last. You never know when it will be. I was a senior in high school, playing in our fourth game of the season. got a helmet on helmet dirty hit when running the ball, and my season, and high school football career was over. One down, one snap, one yard, give it one hundred percent. You never know when it might be your last.
Now all you under classmen that are playing ball right now i'll tell you what football flies by so fast. And all you guys worried about football scholarships and all that junk dont worry about that. Enjoy the moment yall have with together. The honest to God truth college ball aint as good as Highschool football to be honest with yea. So enjoy it and leave no regreats.
Hey man I feel you, I'm 18 and now have to give up football. It's the most amazing game in the world, and I love it with all my heart. Final play of my senior season, it was 4th and 3 with 1:02 left we were losing 31 to 35. I took the ball up the guy blew through the mike backer, got into the end zone and tore my acl, meniscus, dislocated my kneecap and tore all my tendons in my left leg. But to you man Stay Strong Brother!
i wish i could go back to last fall to play my senior yr over again. nobody has ever seen a closely knit unit like we were. we've won state 3 of the last 4yrs but u never want to put the pads away. when we play for state we play for the coaches, our town, and for everybody who doesn't get the chance we get to be on the big stage playing until u can't walk anymore and when its all done and said ur like wow its over now what am i gonna do friday nights. i wish everybody luck with their seasons.

Being from a small town in North Texas, football is basically our religion.
I hate myself for quitting the team before the first game because I couldn't handle the intense workouts in the boiling August, Texas heat. I'm one hell of a Wide Receiver, it was disappointing seeing my skills go to waste.
Sophmore year, I'm going to help my team go to state.
Once you get into football, there's never going back.
If you can muster the courage to get through the workouts, you'll thank yourself for it a thousand times down the road. Training sucks but there's nothing in the world that can match the feeling of putting on those pads and being a part of a team. Even if you don't win state this year or next, you just keep working and make sure you can help carry the load. Even if you never win state, you always get to know that you lived up to your potential and you let nobody down.
im another senior and finished my last season with 14-0 undefeated season and state championship for the third time in the last 4yrs. this song really hits home and is really accurate. i really wish i could replay the season over again. you dont realize how fast it goes until its over.

Some advice to all the young people who decide to play this fabulous sport. Play every down like it's your last. You never know when it will be. I was a senior in high school, playing in our fourth game of the season. got a helmet on helmet dirty hit when running the ball, and my season, and high school football career was over. One down, one snap, one yard, give it one hundred percent. You never know when it might be your last.

Hey man I feel you, I'm 18 and now have to give up football. It's the most amazing game in the world, and I love it with all my heart. Final play of my senior season, it was 4th and 3 with 1:02 left we were losing 31 to 35. I took the ball up the guy blew through the mike backer, got into the end zone and tore my acl, meniscus, dislocated my kneecap and tore all my tendons in my left leg. i wish i could go back to last fall to play my senior yr over again. nobody has ever seen a closely knit unit like we were. we've won state 3 of the last 4yrs but u never want to put the pads away. when we play for state we play for the coaches, our town, and for everybody who doesn't get the chance we get to be on the big stage playing until u can't walk anymore and when its all done and said ur like wow its over now what am i gonna do friday nights. i wish everybody luck with their seasons.

Being from a small town in North Texas, football is basically our religion.
I hate myself for quitting the team before the first game because I couldn't handle the intense workouts in the boiling August, Texas heat. I'm one hell of a Wide Receiver, it was disappointing seeing my skills go to waste.
Sophmore year, I'm going to help my team go to state.
Once you get into football, there's never going back.

If you can muster the courage to get through the workouts, you'll thank yourself for it a thousand times down the road. Training sucks but there's nothing in the world that can match the feeling of putting on those pads and being a part of a team. Even if you don't win state this year or next, you just keep working and make sure you can help carry the load. Even if you never win state, you always get to know that you lived up to your potential and you let nobody down.

im another senior and finished my last season with 14-0 undefeated season and state championship for the third time in the last 4yrs. this song really hits home and is really accurate. i really wish i could replay the season over again. you dont realize how fast it goes until its over.

damn i love this song i love this sport. i had so much to play for this year. i was in band this past year and on my way to one of our marching parades i got word that my cousin had suffered an anyerism. and come camp got word that my uncle had past away. And i will never forget the tears my aunt shed on the day of his funeral. well one day after two-a-days i decided to put his initials on my cleats. we went to go play them on the first game and i dedicated it to him and we won 20-6

@Lance010290 Hang in there. Cancer gives you a different perspective which you already know. I have had the chance to help coach my son's youth football team the last three years. Before, during and after each game I take a few minutes to notice and appreciate things I never would have taken the time to before. Great experiences and great memories...wish you a complete and speedy recovery...

@LivestrongFRV it's true that it does give you a different perspection on life. but the truth is God will help you through any illness, sure you may die. but that's just the LORD sayin come home my son, I have went trough three near death experiences. car accident, fell in the lake during winter, and I drowned but they got me back. I do truely know how important God is in my life, I was going down a bad path of hard drugs and alcohol. I was hangin out with the wrong people too.
