loaded are sick for flatland and like mild downhill. i love riding them, but they are not good for downhill. and 30mph is not downhill

somewhat yes. it helps when it comes to pumping and turning. the more flex there is the easier it will be to go into a sharp turn and come out easy and with speed when the pop flexs back.. but the one down side. the more flex u have when going down a hill if your not craving then speed wobles sometimes happen.

Yeah, the higher the flex number is (for Loaded boards, I don't know what other companies do), the more the board flexes. They say that flex 2 is cool if you are under 170, but if you're over it or you're close, flex 1 is better. It isn't as responsive as flex 2, but it supports your weight better if your heavier.

hey the stiffer the flex the better for hills. like me im 140 and i would normally get a flex 2. but if i want to bomb hills get a flex 3(more stiff), so on and so forth

flex 2 is stiffer than flex 3. your best bet for stability is sucking it up and increasing your balance. i take my flex 4 vanguard anywhere from 25-40 mph with little to no wobble. the higher the flex, the more lively and comfortable the ride when youre not taking it up to speed.(i weigh 145-150)

The truth is, all wheels slide (softer wheels take longer to do so and are way harder to do them on). For Coleman slides, you want a little stiffer board than a loaded one, but for powerslides and bert slides, bouncy boards are fun as hell ^^

I wont bore you with all the details on the technicality of sliding, you can find that elsewhere...but in short, gumballs aren't totally out of the question, in which case the board, itself might be.

Thanks for the help! I want to put some 66mm strikers 88a on my vanny cuz I want to slide like Adam and Louie do in their vids. I've got 66 mm 81a strikers on my board now but i find switch powerslides quite hard so I figured if I get harder wheel perhaps I can learn them.

I would suggest a center set wheels cus they dont cone as eeasily and if they do you can just turn them around. I didn't get the strikers but I got abec11 flashbacks 88a (not center set) and they work perfectly if you still want to be able to carve hard. If u have a shorter deck u could go for smallar sizes like 65mm but for vanny sized boards I would suggest 70mm or plus wheels. most importantly get a wheels that is over 81a in durometer, that'll be fine! Godd luck and have lots of fun!!
