Rolling back in time, I was fifteen then and started to go out with girls, dancing bump was great as well as watching people who really danced great. This song played a lot in my turntable to the point of driving crazy my dear sister. I lost my 45 single when moved to Denver and always wanted to hear it again. Thanks for posting this song in Youtube.
WKTU-FM NYC used to play this mix.I first hard this on 110th St. in Harlem, the days of real music. Then WKTU used to play "Native New Yorker" by Oddessy after this. Now that's a master mix!!!
thank you for posting this version. rare. to date, the 70s is forever lasting. i see everything is comming to full cyrcle. the style, colors, and pretty much everything thats associated with that era. once again, thank you. sweet P
What can I say? Nothing but Positive Vibes radiate from this music. I will defend Disco till I die. I hated it when they Rock and Roll people (some) of them tried to discredit Disco. I like both and dont need to dislike one or the other, I can like both.
In my 50's and then some. This is still theraputical. Takes me back to a good time. Life was simpler then. Danced like a mad man then, Nenas were all over. Used to to dance with two or three at a time. Been thru Cancer and all that older stuff now. But hearing this makes me happy I beat the Cancer and still enjoy this. Thanks Millie for being with me!
Riding around with my boyfriend "Charlie" in his souped up "Red" mustang, the baddest mustang ever in the "Bronx" listening to this 8 track at the time, this tape was a great one all hits by the one and only "Frankie Valli", this was back in the "70", my x now, but keep in touch always.
Dedicated to my dear friend Christopher Pabon, never did learn how to do the Hustle. (dance) ...........lol.............best of everything wherever you are.......hopefully a retired military man
And disco died because ... ??? There is more artistry in this one tune than every song in the entire past decade combined. So sad what music has become.
check out the strobe on the bottom left of the turntable, great memory of turntables, the dots are still when it's the right speed, the on that is moving is for another speed setting. 10 minutes of this song! DAMN i need a drink
@markbhoward ~~You know your turntables!!! My daddy taught me that with his Marantz which I inherited...you got me really smiling hard (I Miss Him)!!!!!

Man you know I was living in NYC in the 70' s I had a ball, this decade full of psichodelic lights, the mirror ball going around and everybody getting down, Studio 54, block parties, this was the era you had to live to experience what cool music was coming out and everbody hanging out in the streets, party 24/7. I miss NY.
