  • Why does our superpower status rely on us having the best weapons and biggest military? The number one forc.....oh nevermind Ron Paul's got this...

  • chris mathews said "he wants government out of EVERYTHING? Who mis gonna chek our tuna for poison?" I just thought to myself "idiot"

  • Chris Mathews is a lockstep socialist who will double cross his own sense of truth if it means the proliferation of his Socialist / Marxist mentality. His boot-licking for Obama is rather disgusting, but as in Stalinist days, his head will end up rolling as well. Poor useful idiot...

  • mathews the media hack.

  • lol wat an ass that reporter..

  • I'm so glad Ron is getting more and more publicity. It is an honor to listen to his intellect and wisdom.

  • What garbage, trying to raise controversy at the end of the interview. They can't discredit him through his policies so they have to intentionally try to offend a certain group of people and turn them against Paul.

  • Chris Mathews is a fat, dumb, ugly, slobbering idiot.

Ron Paul is slim, intelligent, handsome and winning.

  • How bizarre of Chris to push in a question about Berry's birth cert. Why would it be so important to him? My guess is he realizes how foolish his network will look when Obama is exposed.

  • Chris tried again to "label" Dr. Paul. The a-hole compliments him for the great work he has done but still needs to "label" him if he can.His only mission for the interview was to attack him without being aggressive. The only way he could get the man on the show would be to have a fair and honest exchange of ideas. In the end Matthews shows his true colors and begs for an answer to a question ,a question that Matthews already knows the answer. Why is Mr. Transparent not honest with Americans?

  • What is wrong with this response?

"Do I believe Barack Obama is a 'natural born citizen?' I don't know, but what IS clear is Barack Obama has refused to settle this issue by releasing his long form birth certificate. I do believe, by failing to settle this issue, Barack Obama has displayed extremely poor judgment and this casts doubt on both his character and his fitness to act as a sitting president. This also casts doubt on the character of those who defend the president on this issue."

  • @answerman1949 I am disappointed with Ron Paul for not giving a similar response

  • ron paul is my man , almost 100%

  • I'm curious is Ron Paul a Freemason??

  • NOT being a birther is one thing about Ron Paul that pisses me off.

  • @BloodTar Whats a birther?

  • @plotnonyo

It's a derogatory term used to describe any who dare to question the validity of Obama's birth certificate or place of birth. You know, intelligent people who demand answers and don't believe everything someone simply tells them?

  • @plotnonyo a birther is a person who doubts Obama's citizenship and wants to see his birth certificate, which has so far been witheld from public view

  • How come the media is so focused on the Birther issue and not the MIC?

  • Ron Paul the voice of reason. Thank You!

  • And chris mathews is just as bad as o'reiley. He shouts at people even when is on their side. He doesn't know how to conduct an interview. MSNBC and FOX are just two sides of the same coin. Both are just McNews... packaged to look and feel like news but its just talk show. The View or Daily Show with Jon Stewart is more hard hitting and direct than most news outlets

  • @princemio. Uh dude. You don't know shit. We sat in gas lines because Carter stood up to saudi oil kings and refused their bullshit deals and he stopped paying them subsidies under the table. Reagan re-established our corruption and made stuff cheap by selling out american values

  • Ron Paul's wisdom is wasted on Matthews or anyone who watches him

  • @807andrew Agreed, Matthews is a political punditry 'tool' but... since MOST voters, sadly, still depend on mainstream media to 'inform' them [cough cough] that is exactly where Ron Paul needs to be seen and heard. By not giving Paul at least 'equal' (and honest) time in '08 it was largely mainstream media's FAULT that Paul isn't our President right now, IMO, so the more face-time Paul gets in this arena the better.

  • "To me, the foreign expenditures and the war should be the easiest place to cut. and we are now spending 1.2 trillion dollars a year maintaining our current foreign policy, and i could find hundreds of billions of dollars there and i wouldn't have to cut programs at home. programs that i basically don't agree with, but i don't feel like that's where we should cut first."

  • oh i got a tingle down my leg oh wait its pee ....i ve become incontinent everytime chris matthews opens his mouth..

Mr. Paul is correct but the military industrial establishment will have him marginalized by the media they control ...

He knows Barry Sortero aka Barrack Obama is a fraud but what can you do? not one single senior enlisted nor Military officer is willing to uphold their oath to the constitution and go arrest barry,McCain Biden Billary and the lot all we can do is wait

  • Chris Matthews sounds like he was a huge supporter of George Bush's 'war' on 'terror.' Matthews is just playing into the divide and conquer mentality that Republicans are different than Democrats even though they are both the same. This is really statists versus libertarians, that is why all of the mainstream media (except Stossel and Napolitano) are against Ron and Rand Paul and all other true libertarians (classical liberals).

  • I wonder how much chris mathews understood what he read off the teleprompt.

regardless they were great questions to be answered, especially about the genocide.

  • The Russians will not care about our philosophy, Carter was a negotiator and good at it, but made the US appear weak and we sat in gas lines.

  • Ron Paul is a pretty good politician. He talks about the things that are most important to him while avoiding controversial stances that would discredit him in the eyes of the general public.

  • Why is Chris Matthews always yelling? I cannot stomach watching this guy regardless of who his guest is.

  • I always try to defend my country when people say "Americans are stupid", but based upon what I have seen for the past few years I cannot refute their statement anymore. Ron Paul is a man that has not changed his ideas for decades and yet people do not understand how much good he could do for this country if he were to be elected to the presidency. I wish this country was what is was in the past, but this is just not the case.

  • Chris Matthews makes me NAUSEOUS.

    Dr. Paul has the cure!

  • @yakyakyak69 more cowbell?

  • "Is there anything to this birther thing?" "No, obviously I don't think that since I never talk about it." "THAT'S A DODGE!'

    What? Not a dodge, idiot

  • @caseyfaceirwin I know. I love how he asks the same question again and Ron Paul just sits there with this confused look on his face like, "I already said 'no,'" and then Chris Matthews realizes that he had already answered the the question and goes, "dur, stamp of approval!"

  • Ron Paul certainly handled these loaded questions expertly.

  • i'm disappointed that Ron Paul is a non-birther.

  • Setting an example to emulate is not how the Chinese(CCP), the Russians and/or the Iranians would interpret the US' exit. They would understand the new reality on the ground to be the opportunity to plunder, loot, and we get refugees, as per China already, in Africa. The Taliban don't worry about blowback when they, via their foreign and/or domestic policy, indiscriminately murder innocents. The US needs a $16-T, not a $13-T economy, to keep doing, what must be done, vis-à-vis the barbarians.

  • You can tell the doc is in full campaign mode now. but honestly if he plans on winning the words "9/11" or "Osama bin Laden" should never come out of his mouth. That only gives the neocons ammo.

  • Good ol' Chris "Slimeball" Matthews

  • Matthews is carrying Obama's water. He sharply criticized Bush for the same things.

  • Ron Paul nails it. Every time. Period.

  • Stay in the House, stay on the FED's backside. Beware of Trump he is a Liberal faking conservative values to split the GOP ticket.

  • "Leave it to talk show hosts and Donald Trump" lol such a pro answer

  • Chris Matthews is such a putz.. Of course it's important whether the president is a US citizen. The question is not whether or not Obama is a US citizen, but whether his certificate of live birth is a valid birth certificate. All that has been shown is that Hawaii provides a certificate of live birth. Is that the same as a birth certificate. I don't know. All I know is that I have a birth certificate, not a certificate of live birth. It states who my parents are, my date and place of birth.

  • Having the largest, most technologically advanced army in the world does not MAKE us use it all over the place. Politicians with axes to grind do. We can have the biggest muscles on the playground but not be the bully. Silly Matthews.

  • I agree with Ron Paul on most things, but he was trying to dodge the birther question, not sure why he wouldn't just say no. I guess he needs to appeal to these tea parties to have a chance in 2012.

  • Whats up with the disrespect Chris Matthews?

  • Chris, Chris, Chris...you ignorant slut. Just bringing up the birther question in seemingly every interview only stokes the fire. People who hold that position don't like the President. It's like trying to convince a Democrat that Bush wasn't purposefully driving up gas prices. As we see now, the rising prices are a result of monetary inflation. Presidents don't like high gas prices because their popularity takes a hit, but the govt. wants to create credit bubbles and monetize debt.

  • Ron Paul is so amazing...I do not know how he has kept his sanity in the cesspool that is Washington.

  • If they would stop interupting they may get an answer

  • Chris Mathews makes me want to vomit..

  • @RebelRouserMC Exactly. When a Democrat uses phony humanitarian justifications to start wars, it's okay, but when a neo-con does it, it is pure evil. There seems to be a disconnect on the part of the left. I see no difference between the internationalist left and neo-con foreign policy. It's a phony left/right paradigm.

  • Why, when all those excellent points are made by Dr. Paul, do interviewers have to put an unacknowledged opinion on the good Dr.? Focus on issues, forget the old shit. It only distracts people from reality. Trump is a chump and in my opinion he is here to cause even more distractions for the people and muddy the waters come election time.

  • Ron Paul is a true gentleman. President Ron Paul has a sweet sound to it.

  • when Matthews back him into a corner with the "birther argument" the Dr. should of said "fuck you bitch, I'm out!" Ron Paul doesn't need to explain or debate nonsense....

  • Chris shit head is a STUPID political tv whore fool. I think he is pathetic and needs to go away

  • ugg the end part of trying to pen you in with the birther stuff, just tacky ...

  • Ron Paul is the only politician with common sense that I have ever know in my 40 year life

  • love kills hate.

  • I hate Chris Matthews, at least he let Ron Paul speak!

  • RON PAUL 2012

  • Chris Matthews is dumb, but at least Ron excelled like he always does.

  • @waremi51 No Doubt. Look how hard Chris Matthews tries to get Ron to contradict the principles of Liberty. Matthews failed horribly.

  • @waremi51 Agreed, I love how after some of Ron's answers, Matthews paused almost like he didn't know what to say next. =)

  • RON PAUL 2012
