I think something went wrong during testing, at least the 3wheeler looks pretty bad at 4:13 - both front lights in strange directions and on is broken, missing right mud guard... I wonder what has happened to the car..

A very nice reverse trike,But at the price! There are a lot of trikes that will do all the things the Morgan can, eg Aerocycle / JZR / buckland / and even a lomax At a cheaper price Which are also great fun to drive.

Why don't more road vehicles use this engine? Here in the US, the cheapest cars on sale are all 4-pots with around 120 hp. This little V2 makes 115 from a relatively similar capacity. Put this engine in the Mazda MX-5 and other lightweight performance cars.

@FigTreeMD Why not increase the capacity then? Couldn't they make a 2.0 L or 3.0 L V2 that makes as much hp and torque as an inline-4? They could certainly add a turbo to create more torque (like the BMW 1M's engine). I'm surprised that no car manufacturers (except for Fiat and the twin-air) are experimenting with 2 cylinder engines, especially with the recent downsizing trend.

0-60 in under 5 seconds from an engine smaller than any other car you can buy. Makes you wonder how small city cars with 3 cylinders can't crack 12 seconds

@OpForza It's two liters. Not really small by E.U. standards. The engine is heavily based on Harley Davidson's ancient design. Low on relative HP but high in torque. Lack of weight is the main reason it's quick. Small 3 cylinder cars you wrote about are extremely heavy in comparison.

Actually no it is not heavily based on the Harley engine. It's the S&S X-wedge engine and it shares absolutely nothing with a Harley. It's a clean sheet of paper design. I suggest you look it up, S&S Cycle.

V-twin, push rod , two valve and air cooled with a single crank pin. They are a plague upon the land here in the states and are common as belly buttons. Loud, slow, and inefficient. Look it up .

I need not look anything up since I've built 4 custom Harleys out of the nine I've owned and have always maintained what I ride. I tend to keep them a long time. Oh and as far as the X-wedge is concerned you forgot to mention the vastly improved valve train geometry.

@yellowbusguy My point is what makes city cars so heavy? They have a car engine and 0-60 in double figures. This has a bike engine and offers 911 acceleration.

@OpForza Cars are heavy because people want to be comfortable , dry and warm. Add to that safety equipment , electric windows and all the other equipment and it adds up quickly. Most city cars will achieve better overall economy than this Morgan. The typical Harley type v twin only manages 40 to 45 mpg on the us cycle if gently ridden. Imagine that Morgan with modern tires and a hot sportbike engine!
