@CPWindsorsub Except for John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd who play nothing on this. the rest of the band are pretty much the same musicians who played on the original. Just sayin.

@funnyman1791 I realize that. I played in a cover band that did some of the Blues Brother songs. No harp on this song and I don't consider singing as "playing" . It is singing. I was just pointing out that the these musicians who joined Belushi and Ackroyd to form the BB's played on the original songs back in the 60's. Good lookin out though.

Wow. It would not surpise me if I know any of these people that are talking about playing this song in high school marching band, because I did too! Not only that, but my high school jazz band also played a Blues Brothers meddley which included Soul Finger, Soul Man, Gimme Some Lovin', and I Can't Turn You Loose.

Yep, it's Blue Bros Revue! It's just a great, fun song. Not too complicated as far as Jazz goes, but it's still fun.

@2009Bandman im really enjoying it in our band. but since the majority of our band is 8th graders (the youngest in the band) it is very hard for us to get it together. us veterans have it down though :)

Not everyone has the intelligence to appreciate different types of music. I'm glad that the Blues Brothers is still out there introducing a whole new generation of people to this wonderful music. Kudos Blues Brothers!
