If you feel the police are not doing their job properly, you have the video footage, you can take that to file a case against them, but to flat-out protest against the police by doing what they told you not to do is childish.

Winning a case like that would set legal precedence for all of us.

@eggiex1 the police do not make the laws, they just enforce them. It is not a crime to dance. Of course they did it out of spite. Defiance is not the crime here, oppression is.
And when you make the analogy to the lion it only proves the point more. Everyone knows how dangerous it is to mess with a lion, you shouldn't feel the same way about the people who are paid to serve and protect you.

These guys are purposely mocking the police after they were told about getting arrested by explicitly doing what they were instructed not to do. If you feel the police are not doing their job properly, you have the video footage, you can take that to file a case against them, but to flat-out protest against the police by doing what they told you not to do is childish.

@nexiss21 I'm pretty sure that if a police officer is violating your civil rights, you can sue his department for "abuse of process" and if not, some other similar legal precedence. From wiki: "Abuse of process is a cause of action in tort arising from one party making a malicious and deliberate misuse or perversion of regularly issued court process (civil or criminal) not justified by the underlying legal action." Winning a case like that would set legal precedence for all of us.

I've seen soooo many videos and news media clips of people getting arrested for crap, and yet -nothing- ever changes. Even the hundreds of arrests in the 99% movement lead to nothing. At least by filing a case through the courts, it starts a movement that actually has a chance to lead somewhere.
