@eeanneli Tourettes Syndrome is way more than a tic disorder. Possibly not as many people know this because the tic part is the part that the public really understands. In the US Dept health and human servicesBrochures there is a booket on Autism. Page 3. it talks about Tourettes Syndrome. Most of these booklets also speak about the Comorbids, associated disorders that accompany Autism, Aspergers, Tourettes etc. My son has TS, my neiece has Autism and my father had schizophrenia. booklet is free
@eeanneli I wonder why they keep them so different. I think the tic portion of Tourettes is like the portion of Autism that has the child with a blank look on thier face. You know what i mean? Like what is the main common characteristic of glancing at someone that has Autism and Glancing at someone that has Tourettes Syndrome. little or no emotion on the face? Tics? Yet we know this is not what Autism and or Tourettes is all about. My son also has OCD thought disorder adhd learning disabilities
I am an audio autist. I have barely any visual memory but I can work very well with words. Most autistic education is aimed at visual learners and many so called experts don't even realise or acknowledge that we exist.
Using language development and auditory sensitivity to produce a subgroup is an elaborate way of saying what we already know. It would be more useful to consider why repetition and sameness is at the centre of the problem. Look at picture memory, consider how you would innovate with a picture memory and how language and a picture memory relate to each other as opposed to a language-to-language memory. For instance, how can a timeline of events be created for the past hour with picture memory.

Much is still unknown of autism. It may take some more time of hard research.

I find TS to be a Neuropsychiatric Disorder. In that it encompasses both the body and the mind. Combination

Tourettes Syndrome is also in the Austim Spectrum. Is that being left out on purpose or is there a video about this?
