  • first car i ever bought cost me a tenner ,only had it for two days ,before someone stole it ,i believe they are still built in iran :)

  • @kevrs2 love it Kev, I think you are right about them being built in Iran. I think they are great cars (inc the Avenger) and a natural home to a Rover V8. He's now upgraded to 4.6 litres and a lorry turbo I think!

  • my dads got a 67 Singer Vouge, saloon, he's preparing to put the old 3,5 in it, cannot wait, b loads of fun involving me n the dual carriage way at 3am XD

  • A 4 litre V8 under the bonnet? That Hillman's got balls or what?

  • I lOVE that kind of thing- stock looking but packing some serious grunt, spending the money where it counts. nice one!!

  • No, good old Jag axle complete with LSD!

  • STANDARD DIFF MAN?

  • what you mean diff man?

  • No, it is a home built Rover 4.0 with a number of tricks. If you look closely you can see the turbo mounted externally under the front bumper

  • 350 chev? heard of 1 or 2 that got put together as for turbo would have had to low mount them as after the v8 went in it doesnt leave alot of room.

  • bet the bmw driver didnt no what to make of it eating his dust

  • Great, I have 2 Hillman/Sunbeam Hunters, they are great and beautyful cars

  • hahahaha, awesome!! love old british tin beating up the rest of the worlds motoring offerings.hillman huskys, hunters, avengers and imps, pops and zodies, minis and morris'(if i sound patriotic thats cos i am!!)
