I agree it's a hit or miss, I can watch these shows for hours and really enjoy them, however I show them to my friend and she said it was just way too dry, but that's what I love about it. :) She likes south park, (which is a funny show) but the humor has to be sort of baby fed to you on that show...on this, you get or you don't!

Exactly why these sort of shows are awesome.

The characters are actually funny by themselves and don't need to rely on cheap jokes for a good laugh... unlike others, ie 'How I Met Your Mother'.
