it makes me really sad to see people so closed-minded when it comes to other people being gay. i know where straight people are coming from when they dont understand why people are attracted to the same sex, because i dont understand how people can only be attractred to the opposite sex, it still seems unacceptable to me to be negative aout what you do not understand. Tell me that it mentions anything about a man having a loving respectful relationship with another man. Tell me that it says anything about holding hands, kissing, cuddling, etc. It doesn't. Until you find me a passage where it explicitly says: "Men cannot stick their penis into a man's ass" I have no reason to believe that gay sex is wrong. Also, relationships and love isn't all about sex. Nowhere in the bible does it mention a healthy loving partnership between a man and woman. I do believe in a God, but I don't believe in the bible. It's archaic and outdated.

Besides if this book is God's word it should tell us about the Earth being round, homosexual relationships, dinosaurs, not stoning children to death, etc etc. What?! It does tell us about homosexual relationships and,that it is not right to do it,not sure atm,if it says anything about the shape of the Earth but,it DOES say how things came into existence,and as far as the dinosaur stuff,I found this Scripture in (Job 40:15–18) and,it sounds like it is something close maybe? I don't really know for sure.

@Justericpersonal No it does not. There's only two references to homosexuals and they only reference sex. Tell me that it mentions anything about a man having a loving respectful relationship with another man. Tell me that it says anything about holding hands, kissing, cuddling, etc. It doesn't. So you know what that means? We, we people have to decide for ourselves this issue and not jump on the religion bandwagon. Point is, gays are people, people who deserve to be respected and accepted.

@TheLehAya It's not just a choice. It's me not believing every piece of paper thrust in front of me said to be the word of God, which we have no way of knowing if it is. I believe in a higher power. I just don't believe in the Christian God, and even if he was real, I wouldn't praise him. Think of what many of you call yourselves...God fearing. He shouldn't need to be feared. Why would anyone serve a being that invokes fear in oneself?
