  • drums sound like pots and pans clatter. otherwise sounds great.

  • Everybody's a critic......

I used to gig all over. Nice job on a tough song, guys. Good guitar playing. So what if it's a half-step down? Drums aren't necessarily too heavy - they are just a bit loud in the mix. No biggie.

  • Sounds great. If I walked into any club in the world and some band was doing this much justice to a Journey tune I'd be very happy I walked in the place. And the proof is in the pudding. Look how many people started dancing. That is THE job of any cover band looking to make the people thirsty enough to keep buying, which keeps the owners asking you back to play. A+!

  • Good cover boyz !!!!!!!!!! The lower-key sounded strange at 1st, but once you got going, you kicked-ass ! Loved the 'Schon' note for note soloing toward the end = always was my favourite part of that track.

  • F you guys. so wat if he's straining. let him sing what he wants to. It sounds good, why so fricken criticle of everything? r u a professional music rater or whatever? you prolly work for the freakin city or something.

  • naw I do a heavy rocking drum version too, on my channel.ROCK ON

  • Its a good cover, but I think the drums were too heavy...like with fills and stuff...sounded more like Metallica...Take it easy....Thats the only negative thing, other than that Great job!!!

  • dude needs to sing in a lower key....he is straining just to keep it in the original key. Kick ass cover band though! Journey would be proud.

  • @SpicyItaliana - lets see YOU sing it in the original key - lots of high Bs and tenor C's. Lets ee if you can keep that up after 2 or 3 sets of music.

  • Vocals+Guitar+Drumming-

    Timing was rushed...

  • Probably should stay away from anything Steve Perry. Too much vocal strain.

  • Very nice cover! Awesome.

  • Nice Job guy's great guitar playing

  • Agreed.

The vocals are strained -- who's wouldn't be trying to sing like Perry -- but the guitar work is fantastic. You nailed it.

  • UH-HUH. THIS is what being a cover band is all about. You guys are great.

  • not in the original key.

however, singer has appropriate voice for Journey and i rate 5*

  • Thanks for listening! We tune down a half step because we do 3 to 4 sets of music a night. Makes it a little less demanding!

  • you guys are a good band, very talented....but you just cant touch a journey song......

  • Very awesome job. Great vocals. Awesome on the ending! Enjoyed you guys.

  • you guys rock...excellent job!!

  • Great! You got that Tenor vocal!

  • Dude thats frigging awesome!

  • Yup the drummer is the only weak link

  • lolwut? the drummer rocked, the bassist is the weak link.

  • And you kick ass, btw...

  • Hey, what's the actual chord prog on this, I know I play it all wrong...

  • Holy Crap can you belt it!!! awesome cover...??

  • hrm, is the drums off a bit? but everything else sounds pretty damn good.

  • Nice job men!
