Dunno, apparently Jagex removed the safespots, but these "safespots" aren't really safespots, so no idea sorry. I'll go check it out later.

But I do have a question: Is the use of the ice spells is only for the safespots?

Ice spells are just to hold the barrows brother and to stop the brother from moving while you attack it.

isnt a realy safe spot, it holds them for some seconds but if you freeze you got another few seconds to kill it

Thanks for the guide. I have been doing barrows lately and have been wasting a lot of money on prayer pots/runes. I also have been wasting a lot of time walking from varrock to canifis every run. This new method is great. Ill try it.

Probably :D salamander hits harder, and is cheaper too :) However, tar can be a total pain to buy sometimes.
