You have to remember that the Durrand Line Treaty was signed by the then King of Afghanistan- there is no expiration date on the treaty as falsely claimed. This can verified through records kept in London. Moreover, the name Afghanistan was coined by the British- the current Kingdom of Afghanistan is relatively new; hardly 250 years old. The more ancient Khorasan is thousands of years old. Pashtun tribes are found in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.

lol, pashtun or pakhtun is a very new word only for few centuries, the word for us is avghana, abagan, and finlay AFGHANS, no matter some call it aka afghan, pattan, pathan,avghan, or wat ever. and our homeland is afghanistan nwfp(afghania) and balochistan, and soon we will take it back, and for ur info afghanistan name was put by ahmad shah abdali not brits and even before hime many pashtun areas was called afghania, long life LOY AFGHANISTAN.

pakis that r pashtun r really afghans b/c a long time ago , i think Peshawar,Peshawar was part of Afghanistan then the British attacked Afghanistan , then one of the kings of Afghanistan signed a contract with the British that Peshawar will be Pakistan for 100yrs . and still Afghanistan did not get Peshawar . and that were most of the pashtuns were there . r those all pics of afghan ! cuz mostly afghan look like that ! =)

pakis arent pashtuns..some pashtuns are just from pakistan because during the soviet invasion, the afghans migrated to pakistan but pashtuns are really afghans...i am half pashtun half tajik [dad's pashtun though..so that makes me one ; )

Pashtuns are ORIGINALLY from AFGHANISTAN NOT PAKISTAN...there are pashtuns in pakistan because they migrated from afghanistan to pakistan due to the war with the soviets.. so pakis arent pashtuns!! Pashtuns are afghans and afghans are gorgeous

The light eyes/hair are probably from mixing with Alexander the Great's Macedonian soldiers who had more red/blonde hair and light eyes than the Greeks. Or perhaps from interaction with peoples known as Russians today who are just around the corner OR as we descended into South Central Asia from the north, which is called Russia today, we brought along those genes-who can say? The girl with the braid going accross her forehead is NOT pathan but KALASHI. People look at what we have in common.

The Durand Line is an artificial demarcation between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The entire area was part of the Persian Empire and similar groups of people can be found, that is, we are all ethnically related and are Central Asian.
