At 3:23 I think he is actually saying ''these lyrics is something else'' instead of ''your delirious is something else'', and in that way he is referring to the power of the words he is about to say
@hotmonkey000 I noticed that as well, then scrolled down and saw your comment, lol. He also Says "just dig this" and they say, this did this. wtf are they def. Preach it johnny, I feel your pain.
wow...did he really say "that i've written" in the beginning?
what a slimeball...i've seen interviews where he comes across as pretty arrogant (self-proclaiming himself "godfather of the blues" and all of that), but lifting entire songs and taking credit for authorship?
for those who don't know, this song is actually percy mayfield's "memory pain" (recorded like in '57?), lifted almost lyric for lyric. shameless. i lose more respect for jlh the more i learn about him. =/

does anyone know if this or a similar version is available on record? I have a few vinyls with this song, but it's JLH with a full band, and this more intimate version with just JLH and his guitar is my favourite.
Great song. There's several mistakes in the subtitles though... Whoever did them wasn't listening to context, and/or couldn't understand JLH very well.
That guy was a fucking jewel.

Pure, raw, deep, dark, real deal blues baby! The only kind John Lee knew how to play. Great stuff that you just can't find in today's music scene.

This man is in a group of musicians that inspired The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.

You do know that in blues music there's plenty of lyrics borrowed from other songs , riffs, lyrics etc. What exactly is the problem here?
