Are you sure that's 81 pounds? and I mean really certain? Because you'd need to have made that out of lead and then punched on alot of extra metal to get that weight for something that size.
i cant imagine it weight too much, keep in mind, in the medieval era, they wore steel or iron helmets which had to withstand day to day rigours of war, and keep them alive. if this is the particular helmet i'm thinking of the guy is using it (or wanting to) for SCA, so the Tinted glass would not be approved. what gauge steel did you use?
Nice a medival Mandalorian Helmet ^^ would be a nice style idea. Instead of Future parts use metal plates. Heavy as hell but I bet it would look awesome.
