  • LOVE YOUR PERFORMANCE GOD BLESS YOU

  • @guitarlady690 Thank you! Blessings on you too!

  • I've never heard this arrangement before, it's nice. Do you know the one that's the same original tune but in 3/4 time--and then they use "Oh how he loves you and me" as the chorus? I forget who arranged it...we used to do it sometimes in a group I was in as a young adult. I'd love to hear you do that one!

  • lol. cool guitar man.

stick to the original tune though.

  • Well, I'll tell you what I learned in the radio business. People don't know what they like. They like what they know.

  • aaaalrighty then. i said good music.

  • Sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound offensive or even defensive. I was just stating a truism. I like the original melody too, but I think this one also has something to offer. I may do the original melody one of these days, perhaps on the uke.

  • JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW

FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO

If it wasn't for the bible...

    Where would I be?

    I don't know.

  • So is Jesus a character in the Bible??? I've never read it, it's too long.

  • Then may I suggest you start with the book of John? You don't have to read it from cover to cover to become acquainted with the One who is called the Word of God. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:21). The Word is Jesus.

  • mother fucker you will have to answer to god for that one

  • Jesus lived in Jeruselum, so he obviously was not white my kind sir.

  • I don't recall ever arguing that He was. So, what's your point?

  • correction jews come from a white background but yes he was a jew

  • nice song, good guitar playing

i can used in our churc

    Thanks

  • Im jewish and I expect a lot of thumbs downs from ignoramus's

  • Here's hoping your expectation is not fulfilled. Jesus obviously loves Jews along with everyone else. He was a Jew. Not all Jews were in agreement with their rulers when He was crucified. Not all Jews rejected their Messiah. Even today there are many Jews who have and will receive Jesus as their Savior. Far be it from me to attempt to judge any race of people. Jesus loves everyone, even those who will ultimately reject Him.

  • Jesus wasn't a messiah my fine sir.

  • That's quite an assertion! Was He a liar then? Was it mere coincidence that He happened to be born at just the right time, under the right star that guided the Magi, and that He was crucified in the exact middle of the seventieth prophetic week of Daniel's seventy week prophecy? I actually agree that H wasn't just a messiah. He is THE Messiah! If He is not, then there is and will be no Messiah.

  • Well we'll both always have our seperate beliefs and that's ok, because we live in such a great country that lets us do so.

  • Amen to that, not that we'll "always" have our separate beliefs, but that we live in a country that allows us to disagree without fear of persecution, at least from the government! Although, no doubt, that will not always be. Rev. 13:11 speaks of a two-horned lamb-like beast that will speak "as a dragon." That beast, I believe represents the USA. Our country was founded on Christ-like principles which were embodied in our constitution. I fear she will yet speak (make laws) like a dragon (Satan).

  • Jesus IS thee Messiah. I'm studying archeology of the Bible and it's amazing how everything they find lines up perfectly with Scripture. There's no way all that could just be a coincidence. "I (Jesus speaking) am thee way thee truth and thee life, no man comes to the Father except by Me" (John 14:6)

  • god is good all the time

    and all the time

    GOD IS GOOD

  • Jesus loves me so much that he likes to arbitrarily kill off my entire species because we utilized our free will.

  • Let's see if I understand you correctly. First you say Jesus arbitrarily kills of "my entire species." The word arbitrary means to do something for no apparent reason. Then you say He "kills off my entire species BECAUSE we utilize our free will." That doesn't sound arbitrary to me...

Free will implies that we have the God-given ability to annihilate ourselves if we choose by disobeying His law of love. In His mercy, however, we are not annihilated immediately, but given a chance to repent.

  • Touché over the semantics of my English. Nonetheless, I do not think I could trust someone whose twisted moral fabric permits them to kill people because they do not love the person enough. Note the generality of the statement since I apply it to all people and gods - Kim Jung Il, Allah, Jesus, Aphrodite, and the likes.

On another note, swell music skills.

  • nice guitar

    god bless

  • THANK YOU....... how completely beautiful and true! thank you for sharing this beautiful rendition of an already beautiful song! God bless you i hope u will share more with us!

  • yes JESUS LOVES ME AMEN! i like this song really and added on my favorites and playlists! have a great and blessed day bro.

  • This is very good song.....Thanks for sharing, I love this songs...GOD BLESS you brother...:)

  • that was great! "Jesus loves me when I'm bad, though it makes him sad, i know!" what an amazing love!

  • Nice. The craviola's a good guitar, and your singing's great too. Also, after reading these comments, I wanted to say thank you for being the type of Christian that SHOULD be in this world. The kind who respects other opinions and doesn't force their own beliefs onto people. Thank you so much. I am currently in between my own feelings on belief at the moment, and you have no idea how many of the not-so-pleasant kind of Christians I have to deal with.

Great work. Keep up the singing and playing.

  • For what it's worth, feelings are only legitimate if the thoughts behind them are true and accurate. Those who say they are Christians, but who do not act like Jesus are one of the most powerful arguments Satan uses against faith in Christ. However, should Christ be judged by those who say they are His followers, but show by the fruit of their lives that in reality they are not?

  • Christ should not, indeed. And I do not judge him by them, for they are NOT what they claim to be or follow. Seldom do they live by what they preach, unfortunately.

  • On the other hand, can any one of us who claim to be a disciple of Christ ever hope to so live our lives that we will always be above reproach? I hardly think so. I find I often need to fall on my knees and beg His forgiveness, and those whom I've offended (usually the ones closest to me). There is a balance. We are to be perfect in our sphere as our Father in heaven is perfect in His. That includes perfect mercy and perfect forgiveness for others and ourselves as well as perfect justice.

  • Jesus was a pretty good dude over all but when he started saying " I have come to fulfill the OT, and not one jot or title shall pass until fulfilled" Wow I gotta problem with that part! Jesus is not anti-slavery, He think you should be put to death if you work on the sabbath? Death if you are a rebel child? Slaughtering infants suckling:( taking virgins for yourselves:( now that really bothers me, guess I am not mean, cold, souless enough to slaughter babies, without remorse:(

  • =D amen amen i love jesus he is our savior

  • Wow thank you. I am not a satanist but rather an atheist. But I have to respect you for allowing other opinions. =]

  • That's one of the things I love about God. He loves us even when we don't agree with Him, and even if we don't believe He exists. The only time I ever delete comments is when they get ugly. I'm all for freedom of expression, as long as it's done politely.

  • The thought never even crossed my mind until you mentioned it. You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

  • wow agin wow

  • wow i love this song you are awesome you should have a band you are the best person i know and seen that could sing this song so awesome omg like wow

  • Thanks Amber for the awesome comment! I'd love to form a band, but nobody I know has time for that. I should have done it when I was much younger. Blessings on you!

  • Jesus loves me too. Thanks for sharing brother Jack. God bless.-

  • [13] And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked them.

[14] But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:13-14

  • Amen, brother!

  • hy jack marti, my name is also jacky marti and i live in switzerland best wishes

  • You are either the second person that has told me that, or you're the same person telling me again! My ancestors are from Switzerland. We may well be related! They used to call me Jackie when I was a little boy.

  • that was a good song!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you! I thought so too! Blessings on you!

  • Thank you for such an up-lifting response!

  • You're welcome! I wasn't sure based on your video, what you'd think of this response, but seeing as how this song is just a statement of belief and not really directed at anyone, I was fairly sure you probably wouldn't be offended by it. I'm really glad you thought it was uplifting! Blessings on you!

  • thanks for posting,like it.

  • Awesome arrangement of an old hymn!

Lyrics by Anna B. Warner, 1860 and David Rutherford McGuire. Music by William B. Bradbury, 1862.

The hymn first appeared in the novel Say And Seal, by Warner's sister Susan; she wanted a song for a Sunday School teacher to sing to a dying boy, and asked Anna to write it.

    Found all this at Cyberhymnal*org

  • Very nice new molody that I hadn't heard before. I gave it a five star rating and added it to my favorites. Thank you for being such powerful vessel because of God's word flowing and dwelling in you. Liane Crawford
