I have son that have a ROP he is now 4yrs old.. at age of 7mo,hts he go with Vetrictomy Operation, but nothing happen, at 9months old we send him to school for Resources for the Blind that advice of here Retina Specialist. Now he still in school for Toddlers, and we give therapies like PT, Ot, ang Speech Therapy. And it is very Helfull for Us as a Parents..
I have ROP. I was born at 24 weeks and weighed less than 600 grams at birth, but now I live a fairly normal life. =) I have other eye problems apart from ROP such as cataracts, nystagmus, poor allignment (etc), and I struggle sometimes, but the best thing to do is to keep an open and positive mind. I can never do such things as drive a car or have a license, but technology is getting better every day and maybe I can get my condition treated in the future. =)
I have ROP too. I wonder if there is a group or network of people who can connect somehow. Like you i can't drive and it has been difficult for me. I am glad there is much more being done than when i as a baby
thnks for the video helps me for my mid term lol
