You guys all DO realize that IS Carlile singing in clean vocals at 2:18 onward, right?

You may not believe it at first, but wait after that line is repeated to where he starts powering his pitch, you'll hear that indent in his voice that he has when he talks. If you ever heard him talk he has kind of a raspy squeak in his voice which you can hear in that singing.

That is definitely Carlile singing. Looks like you didn't have to wait for the new album after all to hear him sing.
