The inducer motor has a fan that cools itself while it is running. Looks like that is the air you are seeing blowing out of the furnace door. Lighting a match is absolutely no way to test for CO, or any other problem in a gas appliance.
Since someone helped themselves to my CO detector by removing if from my truck a few months ago I wasnt able to check the CO. I really havent felt the need to replace it since I probably use it once a year and they arent cheap.
