I really wish they left the planet cracker alone, if they were worried about balance, they could have disabled the shield while the weapon was active. As far as fiction goes, they could say that the tremendous about of energy required to power the weapon necessitated the temporary shutdown of the shield. Then, once the weapon had fired for it's duration, a cooldown period like the phoenix's overcharge ability could be imployed, with the shields coming back online slowly

i love CnC beyond most damn games, but i do not approve how they are treating CnC4.

I mean no classic harvesting and base building.

the mothership is the first overpowered unit that ive seen in starcraft you can think that 2 thors can blow the shit out of it but whit all those abilitys i dont think so ;(

(also i dont know if thors can attack air units )

Thors can attack air, and those abilities for the mothership are probably researchable and it prolly wont come into play until late late late game.

This is a frickin' demo that mainly demonstrated the new units and abilities of the Protoss, so of course they're gonna look better than the other two races. Give it some time, and Blizzard will show us what the Terrans and Zerg have in store.

It's pretty nice. Too bad it looks just the same as the first Starcraft. I was really hoping to see something new here in the realm of RTS. Unfortunately, I didn't see anything. I use to like Starcraft, but this one just didn't hook me in. Hopefully, the final touches to Starcraft II will change my mind.
