I'm back into rc and took my old nitro models out and you know what? I got so bored with all the equipment needed and noise that I bought a combat wing(no engine just for soaring) and I loved it soooo much I built 3 in a few weeks. I also got myself a foamy pc9 for slope soaring this is all new to me and it's the best. It is cheap (to my level) easy to build and so much fun to fly. I'm adicted now ;-) take care and fly high!!!
