@Theviewfromabove (this probably has nothing to do with it) but i know in ancient times they always married within the family. it was said to keep the royal blood in line. i always thught they were sisters and i never thought anything of it growing up

She and her mate had Nala and Mheetu (Nala's younger brother) Mufasa and Sarabi did have Simba. After Taka got his scar, his name was Scar, so you mean Scar and Zira. Nuka and Vitani had Scar as their father,and Zira as their mom, but Kovu was Zira's kid, and not Scar's. So that's it. Also, Scar's and Mufasa's mom's name was Uru.
When you think about it Vitani does seem more like Scar than Kovu. I mean sure Kovu looks like Scar now because of the scar on his eye now, but when you think about it Vitani stayed evil and Sided with her mother who followed Scar up until the end of the movie, so yeah, she could be considered Daddy's little girl, well only little. girl. lol
Vitani is my favorite character from the lion king series, she has gone through so much, she lost kovu (whom dispite popular belief I think she loved) and her father. Her mother is kind of bitchy and she was eventually left with /no one/
it is impossiable for a black maned lion to have cubs because the color black absorbs heatand in the savanah it absorbs so much heat it mutates the sperm to such a degree it can not fertiliazes the female's eggcell
before i read discription i thought that scar was leaving zira 4 someone else cause zira cheeted on him twice (vatalini and kovu) and when the said the doctors dont know what their saying meaning they r telling scar vatalini isnt scars daughter and she say thats not right but whadda i know! btw gr8 vid really cool yet sad
