  • Horrible review. Totally unprofessional. Doesn't even know how to pronounce the manufacturer's name (way com) that's pretty well known if you're a tech head at any level.

Bad delivery and gives impression that he really doesn't care at all about leaving an impression of any kind.

    Next review please...

  • @rolffz haha I'm a photographer not a tech head. I could care less how to pronounce it as long as I know how to make it work for me.

  • @rolffz There's nothing wrong with this review, Its great to see a non-sponsored review from an actual user of the product. No need to be an ass to someone who's helping you out.

  • @rolffz lol I laugh at how stupid you look. His review was good, and you don't even know how to pronounce the company name. Look it up, it's wah-cum, not way-com. you're an idiot

So, you never turned it on... Can you even draw on it?

When plugging it into your computer, does it upload photoshop to it?

Thanks Amazing review! So helpful, I'm thinking of buying one :)

  • @asadd215 it comes with like a sort of bamboo software thingy to enable you to use the wacom pad i think... use to have one

  • Sound in backgroud is a pain to have to listen to...

  • can it play music?

  • Can you use this in pencil?

  • omg long fingers.. u were born to play guitar

  • @dbca33 : Hah, I've only heard that about bass players. lol I say this because my fingers are really long :)

  • my friend said you can trace your pictures on this tablet, can you?

  • @xxxXLoveahXxxx

you'd just tape the drawing on it and trace over the lines with the stylus

  • @RawrMuffin99 thanks! I'm getting mine in 1 week!!!

  • im using one while i watch this

  • @PopAnAssOpen How is it?

  • @Kadadj its good

i mostly use it for animations though are you getting one?

  • @PopAnAssOpen I really want to, It would greatly increase the flow of my retouching and general Photoshop work.

  • Nicee

  • +1 if your at TAFE

  • I've got it, too :3

  • I have the pen & touch version of this bad boy - I use it with Adobe Illustrator, and this is probably the most badass product that I have sitting on my desk - can't wait to get the intuos version! Great Review!

  • I prefer to see that tourn on

  • Is this portable

  • I really want this!! But idk if I can draw with looking at my screen all the time -.-

  • i really want this for photoshop! :D

  • umm the is the bamboo TOUCH tablet

  • can someone help me? I have a windows XP computer, and a new Bamboo tablet. I have a calibration issue which i can not seem to solve, when i move my pen to the bottom of the tablet or anywhere on it, the cursor moves slowly. its as if the tablet is only using a portion of my monitor, even though it shows in the properties that is taking up the full screen, please someone help.

  • for some reason the wacom bamboo fun went from $70 to 199 any ideas?

  • whats with the buzzing sound???

  • Still recommended? I know theres a new generation of bamboos out there, but I'm about to get one because of it's price. I've been using a broken Volito2 for 3 years, so any tablet will be better than mine.

  • @renevp2

I still love mine. I've had no issues with it at all and it still works like a dream. Keep in mind that I've never used the new ones so I can't compare but if its alot cheaper than the new ones then get it =) If its similarly priced I would go with the newer model

  • @srvwannabe the medium works well too. very responsive with the 2048 lvls of pressure :D id recommend the medium too

  • @srvwannabe what about gaming? with a pen or fingers

fps game like counter strike and use a sniper

  • @THEjkllkkljkljkl is it a Synaptics pad

  • Can you use the Wacom Bamboo Tablet for drawing ON it, insteed of on Photoshop?

  • sick sound....

  • it's not as sensitive...it is like an expensive touch pad but can only use w/ stylus..pretty much crap and useless unless you are in the art and of course then the panel is not big enough...I was going to return this to NEgg but fear lost/stolen.

  • What are the dimensions? I really need to know the size.

  • dude, you're so cute.

    "wacom or wackom.."

    "two little clicky buttons."

  • So need one, I can't draw with my mouse =_=

  • Anyone use it with Gimp in Ubuntu?

  • @randomfreak09 it works with pc... so probably with vista

  • you should put a link to the second part of the review just a friendly tip

  • i dunno how old my design is but it FAILS...... badly.....T^T anyway, im trying to find a new USB cord to connect cause mine got bent badly and now my tablet is literally, DEAD right now and i swear i'll kill someone if i cant draw in paint tool SAI in 5 minutes. >.< i think my bamboo is ancient..... it came in the bamboo fun pack, its kinda thick, (like a macbook air--i swear the new bamboo is half as thin so dont just say "THATS NOT THICK") i need a new, NOT BENT, tablet USB cord.

  • And size is A5???

  • Just plug it in PLLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSEEEEE!!!

  • 2:28 reminds me of that bathroom scene from the poltergeist. I was waiting for you to start ripping your face off.

  • +1 if you think someone is cutting the grass outside! xD

  • @o0OMadMikeO0o He sounds like he has a European accent, and as you can see the video was posted in December, so I doubt it.

  • @o0OMadMikeO0o He sounds like he has a European accent, and as you can see the video was posted in December, so I doubt it. ** opps that was the other vid with the Euro accent :P

  • I have this...

About $100 is what it cost me...

I'd advice anyone who has it to set it to mouse mode and set the touch sensitive setting to medium or the middle part.

Also set the double click mode to the middle. Better than mouse and you can use it to cheat in mouse games.

  • Yes lets go there,

But seriously great vid mate, i think i might get one for myself.

  • @OnlyInNaziGermany Yeah I'm going to have to agree with you here haha

  • @sketchpossie2

iPad is a useless piece of shit you dumbfuck.

  • @sketchpossie2 iPad is just a blown-up version of the iPod Touch, deal with it!

  • hey i have a question, say ur drawing a person and when ur done u want 2 edit the hands. how do u know where to put ur pen on the tablet? or is there a function where u can move the pen without drawing? (sorry 4 my stupidity)

  • @dare4distance69 Just move the paint brush with an actual mouse over the hand, and continue from there...

  • @dare4distance69 on mine i just hold the pen about half an inch from the surface to move without drawing. then when you touch the surface it starts drawing.

  • I was waiting in line at my school and I saw it, i GRABBED IT AND I BOUGHT IT HAHAHAHAHAHAH...now let's watch the review.

  • is that a chainsaw in the background or is the wife just vacuuming at the wrong time

  • how much is that?

  • @dare4distance69 mine was about 80 canadian dollars

  • is it good for drawing?I wanna draw in in but this is my first time buying one.i mainly draw in in with prismacolor pens so is this a good match for me?please let me know

  • you can use it instead of a mouse?

  • @Ursuletz21 Yes

  • good review. im thinking about purchasing it.

  • Does it come with Photoshop software?

Because on the website it says it does...

  • @retropiranha yeah, photoshop elements 7.0

  • i saw two of them on best buy one for 70 and another for 99 but dont know which one to get can you please help

  • @shinyhunter28 if you really need/want the multi touch feature then get the $99 one. if it doesn't make a difference to you then buy the $70 one.

  • I wish I had his fingers.

  • where is the best place to buy it in the UK???

  • ok i was using my tablet and i got off the comp then when i got up to use it this morning i couldnt figure out how to turn it on XDD

  • Its not a on screen is it? Like you can see the image on the tablet?

  • @billkaulitzlova13 no you can't. those are over 1000 dollars. :P

But I've heard the bamboo tablet is whole a lot better than the mouse if you try to draw with it.

  • @billkaulitzlova13 no, you just look the computer screen itself and the tablet just stays black.

  • @Nezumi4ever Oh that sucks

  • someone was cutting grass while you were making the video?

  • i got the bamboo table today and i love it it is so nice to use with drawing and also with normal computer use

  • does it only work on photoshop?

  • Do we absolutly need Microsoft Office 07 to install wacom bamboo tablet? Because I don't have and it worries me... my mother bought one for my birthday and will have it soon, but if it doesn't work, I will be a bit sad... you know :(

  • can i use it on the 13" macbook?:D

  • @akdk95 as far as I can tell... it works on macs...

  • is bamboo the cheapest one to buy?

  • @r3gie831 yes

  • @r3gie831 yes

  • Does it only work with Photoshop

  • @AppleRumm0urs No, I don't think so

  • @AppleRumm0urs No, you can set it to write in all programs...for mac

  • how much does it cost?

  • you kinda sound like christopher walken at times

  • I'm writing this with my new pen tablet. It's pretty awesome!

  • Looks really cool. But this is really old video. What would be the newest BAMBOO Drawing tablet today? I am going to buy one, but I want the newest and the best.

And of course a cheap if possible.

  • @SunBreaker6 ill probably buy bamboo fun

  • @SunBreaker6 Me too, but I know so little about this =/

  • @YoshiLand64 I have heard so much about it (only good)

So I recommend you to buy it, if you are searching cheap and good

  • @SunBreaker6

I'm going to get Bamboo Pen this Saturday, Maybe :D

  • I giggled when you said "two little clicky buttons".

  • Thnx Man I Was Wondering If I Should Buy Dat With My Finacial Aid Money But Plz Let Me Know Will It Work With Sony Vegas I Know So Far It Obviously Works With Photoshop I Wanted Maybe It Can Do A Lil More And Are You Able To Rotate Pictures With This?

  • how much it cost?

  • you havent included info like the size of the screen

  • @pleabargain

Linux are good on phones but are stone age on computers.

Get windows 7 or a mac.

  • what size is it

  • @thesharpenedblade

I also would like to know the size.

  • why da hell u turn red

  • is this pen & touch or just pen

  • @GameSchoolBus This was back in 2008 when there was no touch, so it's just pen.

  • so this is the 100 dollar one ? just the regular bamboo. the pen/track ?

  • dose it work with laptops ?

  • @sheepslayer70 Yes, but you will probably want the smaller version if you are using it with a laptop.

  • 2 Questions:

    How much is it?

Does it only work on Photoshop?

  • @Snowpoint1

It works on you entire computer =) You can play games, draw, model, blah..

  • You have to look at the screen, but there are LCD active tablets too. Like Wacom Cintiq for example.

  • dam that sucks

  • dam the sucks the others cost a lot tho

  • @du6167 but can you see where your pencil is without using it ? does it ahve a sensor to feel where the pencil is without touching the pad ?

  • @Cobac Ugh.. what do you mean? The cursor? Yes, sure, it doesn't go off-screen when you put the pen away. If.. thats waht you mean

  • @du6167 i mean if you dont TOUCH the pad with the pencil you just keep the pen a little ABOVE the tablet , will it show you where the pen is located on the tablet even tough its not touching it ?

  • @Cobac YES it DOES! I know what you mean, the response vid to this vid shoes it

  • @Cobac Of course =) I thinks it works within the range of.. 1 or 2 cm above the surface. So you can easily switch tools and stuff.

  • @du6167 yes, but they cost Over 9000 dollars T_T

  • @du6167 That shit cost almost 10 times as much as the bamboo

  • @du6167 ya but i dont have £1000 to spend :P

  • i dont see any practical use for this. any graphic artist ive seen just uses a standard pen and tablet input and a mouse.

thanks for complicating the mouse even more, wacom.

  • What do you mean? Isn't this just a standard digital drawing tablet?

  • Wake-em and Wack-em...

  • (wawkhum) wacom...

    its kinda pronounced like that..!!

    take care buddy..!

  • For those who use this for drawing, do you guys find it uncomfortably small? Is it worth getting Fun over this for drawing purposes?

  • It's not uncomfortably-small but it is smaller. You get more freedom / control if the tablet is bigger.

  • i was searching the website of wacom , and they doesnt have that model. Why?

  • i don't know, but i found it on amazon

  • im guessing it doesn't work with ms paint? XD i don't have photoshop or anything

  • Oh it does!

It works just like a normal mouse when your program doesn't support the pressure-sensitive pen.

Paint of course doesn't and so it's not the best choice for artists ;).

  • @StringofBinary i think it give you some programms with.

  • cool. Did you draw your profile pic? it's really neat.

  • @StringofBinary

I have it and it works with Paint, but I have Photoshop & Paint Tool Sai and it works on there also.

  • What's the model of that1?

  • Hello , im searching for a tablet and i saw this review.Isnt there any bigger tablet from this firma, what are the size's ??

    Thank you
