@dazza1829 Its an arangement made by Nobuo himself played with the band : The Black Mages. Its a band of chiness dude who do cover of alot of FF songs with Nobuo on the keyboard, so its pretty intense. Hope that helped :)

I can play this perfectly but the only problem i get is at 3:03 i can never do this part correctly. I just cant hear it right when i play it. Like i know exactly what to do i just cant do it. Got any tips for this part? Like i dont know when to roll back to the snare

Well in the cover, i dont do the exact same pattern than in the originial. My vision of this is u need to play what u feel. If u dont feel this lick, just do another one, with the same base (four 4/8 mesures)

So my tip are : Play something u feel, not something that is originaly writen and that u need to reproduce, thats how i do things on drum when it comes to cover. And ul see, it'll make it way more easier when ul have to compose songs with a band later on.

Well.. Id say about 1 day :P The beat are pretty basic, ive been playing for now 5 years so its not a big deal to learn this song. I learned all the song that i play by ear so just by playing it over and over ul nailed it :P

Im using a Westbury drum, cant tell u the size of the tom/bassdrum cause i dont know.. For the cymbals, im mainly use Sabian B8 Pro series, exept my 2 crash, wich are Orion Pro revolution. Hope it help u!
